  1. Hi everyone Thanks so much for all this information. I have very poor credit but fortunately set up a basic accounts with the Clydesdale Bank prior to getting into difficulty. Having said that, and as expected, CB are utterly hopeless. I already use Cashplus as a personal CC and just found out tonight about the business side. I was just wondering if you could let me know how quickly transfers take place ? I know that when I transfer money into my CC account that it takes a few hours. Is it the same transferring from business Cashplus account say to my personal bank account ? Also, if I was to pay in a cheque, do you know how long they take to clear ? In case of emergencies Having said that, from what you have said on your posts, think I will go ahead and set it up anyway. Thanks, Maria
  2. Hi Gerard Good luck with your claim and hope it doesn't take too long. Maria
  3. Hi everyone I posted a note yesterday, however, think wrong place. i have just been successful in pursing RBS and they have said they will refund all my personal charges, approx £3580. I am waiting to here about my business charges. I only applied for a refund on my excess charges and didn't look at any interest, this just seemed to hard. Maria
  4. Hi everyone Not sure if this is correct area to post this, perhaps, the mediator will correct for me. Anyway - :) - I have just received a letter from RBS saying they will refund ALL my personal account charges. I applied for a refund of my personal and business account charges. I already had all bank statements as I keep them for my business. I sent my letter around the 20th December, they returned with a response on 9th January (although it took a while for it to get to me) and I have just received a response re my personal account saying they will refund, as a gesture of goodwill, £3853 - absolutely delighted. I have to sign some paperwork and they will refund directly to my account. I am waiting to hear about the business account ! They have stated that I should run my account accordingly and if I feel this not appropriate they can give me a basic account where I cannot go into overdraft. Maria
  5. Hi Many thanks for that. I have not included interest charges, as I think it will be far too complex for me to work out as I was also in an overdraft position. I have also not included any monthly charges. So, here's hoping
  6. Hi Paul Thanks for that. Did you apply for referral charges with RBS. I have listed them and was intending to put them with my claim. Good luck and let me know how you get on. Maria
  7. Hi again Can anyone confirm ? I'm aware about claiming charges for unpaid d/d & s/p. I doubt I will claim any interest as that just seems far to complex. What I am not sure about claiming is Referral Charge. Once you have been charged in RBS for unpaid bill you are then charged a Referral Charge the following month for the previous month (in which d/d was unpaid), eg Referral Charge for March £20.00. Should I list this as a reclaim ? Maria
  8. Many thanks for your assistance, not to mention, very prompt attention. Maria
  9. Hi Sorry, jumping onto your query, however, see that you are claiming RBS. I am just about to start claim against RBS. Can you please tell me if you contacted your branch in the first instance or Head Office in Scotland. Many thanks. Maria
  10. Hi everyone Firstly, fantastic site - there is so much information to go through. I am just about to make a start on my claim. Some of my charges are personal and some are through my business (sole trader) this will amount to £5-6k. I have always kept all my statements, so have this information to hand. Should I write to my manager first indiciating my intentions, or do I officially write to their head office and copy my bank manager. Many thanks. Maria
  11. Hi everyone I have just joined the forum and thought I would say Hi. I am hoping to claim charges back from the Royal Bank of Scotland, both business and personal. The forum is excellent, from what I have had a look at so far and look forward to getting lots of information from you.
