  1. These guys Robinson Way have placed a default on my account, for a outstanding Gas bill, which is in dispute (not my property). Can they do this ? Its originaly with British Gas and money was left with landlord, who hasn't paid. Please help can I get this default removed?
  2. EDIT , what other threads? What are you talking about? My case is stayed and Nationwide is harassing with telephone calls.
  3. Have Nationwide in court over charges. Charges have taken me way past agreed o/d facility and they're phoning (automated) every evening, 3 times a night. Have sent a harassment by phone letter, which they have ignored, copy sent to court. Court still staying case pending test case outcome, what else can I do?
  4. Hi all I've had a cash card account with Barclays for a couple of years which I've used less and less only for DD payments. The account went a few pounds o/d and they started to bounce DD, and of course charging sending the account into permanant OD. I'm in the process of reclaiming the charges amounting to approx £300, when they cancelled all DD's and informing me of closing account. When I sent my letter before action, they closed my account and get this transferred £79 from my current account to clear the o/d without permission from me. Can they do this? Account in dispute, taking money without any authorisation? A little advice needed. Seems this OFT case is making the banks blase.
  5. Paypal are not regulated by the FSA, they are registered in Luxemberg EDITED DUE TO INACCURACY. They hide, its impossible to contact them and when you do they give you their first name only, never allow you to speak to a manager, DO NOT USE THEM.
  6. You do not have to take your car to an Audi dealership for servicing to keep it in warranty. Just follow their servicing scheduling.
  7. Right! a small update, located the father, 192.com my God what you can find out using it :o , sent recorded letter before action to him. This morning he phoned and was trying to be polite, and said he would be writing to me, and that his daughter was instructing a solicitor. I said great, to which he said that I would be liable for costs if I lose, Bring it on! I await his letter.
  8. Received letter from HBOS plc, stating they have received judgement against them, not admiting liability but will pay in full, however I've already sent in the bailiffs!!!! What next?
  9. I see a bright future for you Knoxvillian working for a DCA . Postmark ineligible, however I have his phone number, so could try and locate his address that way, do you think I should serve a Court order at this address?
  10. Oh goody! He in fact wrote to me to inform me she had gone, no address for him, he also phoned me and when I asked for his address, he refused. So, Mr Landladys dad, your for it Scales clicked Mr Shed, thanks!
  11. Thanks Mr Shed, bad news. But on the court action, if I do go ahead, if I cheekily place her fathers name as care of, might that not speed him into some action as it implements him as well and he will by rights contact her. I mean he contacted me after she left for OZ, and told me he was in fact managing her property. Guilty by association? Or am I clutching at straws?
  12. I had a paypal account, which after 2 years of use I was stitched up by Paypal to the tune of £800, when the buyer claimed no goods had arrived, despite paypal being given a tracking number. They found in favour of the buyer so no goods, no money and a negative amount in my paypal account, ( I had taken the money out asap, always did). Any way they have now passed on the amount to recover to NCO, what a fine upstanding company. I refuse to speak to them or indeed reply to them, but they are persistant buggers. Whilst I was on the paypal site, re registering , I noticed a little bit of wording, we never pass on your details to third parties without notifying you, well that was it, I wasn't notified by paypal by way of letter or any other form, can something be done? Paypal are a law unto themsleves and something needs to be done, they working outside the law I'm sure of it and I'm prepared to do something, I just need an in, so to speak!
  13. If I go ahead, Surely at least I can put a charge on the property and if she tries to sell, which is possible, it'll cause maximum inconvenience. Indeed is it possible to make her bankrupt???
  14. I did check, its the address of the house that she sold before moving to Oz! I guess I'll have to use the apartment address, which according to land registry is still in her name.
  15. Sorry, the AST is? The landlady is in OZ. Sorry I'm a bit thick :o
