  1. Hi Do you have the contact number for DRS as i had a text from them but unfrotunately have deleted it. I have tried searching for them on the net but cannot get them.QUOTE=Snipatm;3653953]Hello, Just checking about the legality of this situations/what i should do? Basically i took out a loan of £150 with Ferratum UK and defualted, tried to contact them about paying it off/repayment plan i never heard anything so sent them a token payment of £30 myself out of good will and trying to lower the loan. However ive now had it passed onto a collection agency (DRS) whom have emailed me/phone me to get in contact with a "Loiuse Brown" Obviously the person assigned to my case. I Spoke to her and she wasnt very helpful, didnt listen to me started getting angry and wouldnt let me talk or discuss a payment plan and finished stating that if i dont pay the amount of £250 (Loan/Interest/Charges) by 30th of December they are sending someone round my house to collect the money in person or assets. Where do i stand here? A) i dont have any assests really as i live with family, whom own the house B) can they legally just enter my house and take somethings of value? Im pretty sure i have to have failed a CCJ to have this happen, or am i mistaken? If im correct what do i do about this as its christmas and theres no way i can afford £250 dead on the 30th and even when i get paid ill be left with basically nothing in my account to live on for the next month waiting for payday after paying bills. Hopefully someone can be of help on this situations, this is totally new to me so im a bit confused on what i should do.
  2. Hi Can anybody give me some advise. I have a loan with wonga it was originally for £200 but i defaulted as i was off sick to cut along story straight with interest etc i have been paying them £52.71 since July and the last payment is due in Dec 2010. In September 2010 i started to receive calls from a CL debt collection company who informed me i owed Wonga over £600 i explained that i had a payment plan as above, and they stated they wanted me to send in bank statements to which i refused. I then received another 10 phone calls all in one day. I telephoned wonga and was on the phone for over 1 hour to which i was told that they had not given my details to the debt collection agency and that my payment plan was still in tact. I received more calls from CL and even emailed them an email Wonga had sent confirming payment plan, i then got told they were sending someone round my house. I telephoned CL again after about the 40th time and got told they would try and sort it out with Wonga. In total i spent about 4 hours on phone and dont ask me the costs as they were from my mobile. I sent a letter to Wonga asking how CL got my details and asking to reimburse me costs and if not would send to Financial Ombudsman i received nothing. I have now sent to FO asking them to look into how my personal details could be given without Wonga knowing (as they stated) and the FO said they are looking into it. I have two payments left and at moment feel like not paying them, what should i do should i let the FO deal with or pay them the last two amounts.
  3. Hi I had the same situation paying and borrowing ptp each month, in the end i just cancelled direct debit and didnt answer their calls i wrote to them and emailed them and kept copies of these explaining my situation and offering to pay them £50 each month and asked for their bank details to which they didnt reply, but at least i had copies of what i was trying to do. After 2 months i heard from Clarity who were brilliant no hassles just paid them back £50 each month even missed a month and they just set it up from next month was £890 now down to £238 plus they do not put interest on. You have just got to be strong you will get nasty letters and calls from ptp saying they will be coming round etc and take you to court just ignore them but make sure you write to them and keep copies. It will work out fine in the end.
  4. Hi I have a loan with wonga at the moment and couldnt pay back this month due to having an accident at moment they have stuck £200 plus interest on I have emailed and asked them to take small payments until i am better and even offered to send them pictures of me with knees and arms bandaged but they are refusing. What can i do?
  5. Hi I have bank details if you want them. I cancelled my direct debit but got their bank details from the website first. I emailed them and said I do not want any telephone calls, got the normal emails saying it will be referred to Account Manager and they would phone sent another email saying it was my legal right to only deal with them through email and written correspondence, and i would be paying them so much through their bank details until i had heard from them to set an arrangement up. The due date is not until the 28th today i had an email from them with a default for £59 charge. I have just emailed them back and explained that I will be keeping a copy of this to prove the charge is unfair as it is only the 26th. I am awaiting their reply.
  6. Hi Sorry to have to reply but I cannot seem to find a new link to post a thread. I have a payday loans with PDP which I have had for nearly a year and am finding it increasingly hard to keep paying them back and reloaning with them. I did default once and received a letter from clarity informing me that I had to pay the debt in full etc. I panicked and paid in full only to reloan again! I really want to get out of the vicious circle but am scared if i default clarity will not accept a repayment plan. As anyone had this problem.

Hello i am new to this site, i have recently been trying to get charges back from HSBC, i sent them a letter asking them for bank statements which in amazment were sent to me within 14 days. I then sent the first letter, when i rang to see if they had received, it took me 7 times to confirm that they did and that they had an 8 week backlog. I contacted them again just before christmas before the second letter went out and they informed me that the backlog had gone back to 12 weeks i explained i would be sending the second letter given them 14 days and he replied ok send it. I am now getting very nervous as they only have 10 days to reply otherwise i start court proceedings. As anybody had any luck with HSBC. Allison:confused:
