Hi all. Brief one - friend was speaking to his Gran about an ever increasing size of the premiums she was paying for the above she was adamant to him that she was told at the point of sale that she "needed this" in no uncertain terms. Unlikely there will be proof of this, of course, but my question is if there was no evidence of any advice given, can a claim for mis selling on these sort of policies every be successful?

Hi all. Summary: 3rd June - tried repeatedly to pay parking meter machine by contactless but it seemed stuck at the same point every time I tried it - took video of the problem. Daughter was desperate for toilet so rushed her to the local toilets, came back and paid at a different meter but this was obviously later. Last week received a TE3 form, attached as redacted PDF. Is it worth reasoning with the council on this one, ie - explaining what happened? Order for recovery of unpaid penalty charge (Parking).pdf

Hello all. I need to update another thread I have running but in the meantime, I must post this: -March 2023 Purchased new Samsung washing machine -Last week it developed a leak where the seal has a chunk missing -AO, who sold it via Amazon, are only offering £60 towards the £150 cost of repair (but in their early responses they stated that 'You are in luck, it is still under warranty with Samsung so they will repair it for you'. -Samsung say that being as it is physical damage, the warranty is invalid -A quick Google seems to suggest that this is a big problem with Samsung washing machines -Amazon say 'You are not eligible to request a refund Sorry, this order is not eligible for a refund under the A-to-z Guarantee because the order is too old. What do you suggest is the best course of action I take, please?

Hey all. Remember last time I posted about these? Their ticket machine was out of order and yet they still sent me a letter trying to get me to pay a charge of £100? Well this time, when I went back there on 4th Aug, I was extra vigilant when I paid for my ticket (took a pic of the machine saying I had paid) and guess what? Today I receive a letter saying my contravention was an 'overstay'?? God I hate these people!!! Do I question them? Ignore?
