  1. I beleive that if it had already been sent to the baillifs prior to your B/R then they can try to collect up until you are discharged.
  2. If you look on Ashbournes web site, thay say they will not persue you through tyhe courts but rely on defaulting you with the credit ref agensies. Sorry spelling has gone to rats tonight.
  3. Hang in there girl, you have done well. Soon be all over and you can get back to some sort of normallity.
  4. I am in the same situation with her indoors mate, enders comes on and Im out to me shed and on the puter. Sorry off topic I know
  5. I think that the letter T prefix indicates a territorial regt/batt.
  6. Hi Pink poppy First off dont worry, you will not be going to prison. The bailiff is just trying to scare you into making a payment to his charity, eg his pocket. Phone the council and find out how much you owe on your bill, dont tell them why as they dont need to know. Do this this morning. Do not let the baillif into your house, talk to him from an upstairs window or just ignore him, he might throw some toys out of his pram but do we care, no we dont. Keep all doors and windows locked, as he has the right to gain peacefull entry through an unlocked door or window. If you have a car, move it away from the house as he can levy on it even if you are not there. He can only charge you for two visits if he does not levy on anything, a maximum of £42.50. Dont forget. Do not let him enter your house. Good luck.
  7. Free until the end of march, then £4 per ticket.
  8. AFAIK, they can only charge for two visits , not letters. So they are stuffed. Letters are not covered by the statutes regarding council tax recovery.
  9. Its probably held with all those lost letters that they never receive
  10. If you go and pay in their offices, then they will refuse to take your payment. Pay the council via their website and print off a receipt. Make sure that the money is allocated to the correct year or it will be taken from this years tax.
  11. Hi Beau Dont get me wrong, we have signed contracts but we have never been given a copy despite asking many times.
  12. PS The money is lousy as well. Worked just over 80 hours a while back and only took £500 inc expenses
