  5. That sounds like your best bet. You don't get very far on the phone anyway. They just say that they won't budge and refer you to the ombudsman.
  6. By phone. I said I look at the letter they were going to send me and then respond. I got a letter asking me to sign to say that I would not claim again etc. I rung customer relations straight to say the the letter I had received did not address all of the points in my original letter. After that they pretty much ignored me. Until today. They haven't even acknowledged the claim. They paid the money back.
  7. They offered me £352 right at the beginning. Then told me to go to the Ombudsman. I did that as well because there have been a few problems with their customer service.
  8. First Letter sent 2nd March 2006. LBA sent 16th March 2006. Claim issued 24th March 2006. Claim Deemed Served 1st April 2006. Settled in full 12th April 2006. From start to finish 6 weeks.
  9. Have just looked at account online. All money is there. As yet I have not been asked to sign anything.
  10. Halifax have today refunded me £349.63 of the £2277.63 applied for through small claims court. This covers the Interest and Court charges. I have just spoken to Customer relations and they said that the rest of the money should be in my account by the end of today. Halifax had until the 18th April to respond to my claim. They haven't even acknowledged it. Nor have they asked me to sign anything yet to say I won't do it again. I just noticed that this money appeared in my bank today. As soon as I have all the money I send you guys some book vouchers. How do I go about that?

    Claim Today

I'm going to Lodge my claim at the court this afternoon. Do you think I let Halifax know when I have done this or just wait for the claim to be served on them?
  12. What I have found with these e mail address' is that if you chase up any action you have sent them they seem to get it on the system a lot quicker than when you post anything.

    Moneyclaim

Does anyone know if moneyclaim accepts Visa Electron?
  14. Halifax have until Thursday to refund all my charges. I will be submitting my claim to the court online on Friday. Do you think it would be a good idea to let Halifax know my claim number on Friday or just wait the the claim to be served on them?
