  2. Well, I decided to look into this after I was told that I have PPI on my shopping catalogue. So I sent a SAR request, which they provided within 7 days, I works out that I had paid over £600 in PPI, and that I was paying a third towards PPI per month. SO I decided to request this back, and for them to stop the PPI. I received a reply within 2 weeks, which both requests have been refused. I had a woman phone me, who asked to speak to me, and I was busy but I requested that she dealt with this via letter, because I wasn't recording the conversation. She then told me, that she would decide whether to deal with this or not, based on the fact that I had refused to speak to her. What do I do now??
  3. Recieved a letter from them today with a exact copy of the agreement which was setup with SkyCard. It has my signature on it and everything. Spoke to a woman the other day on the phone, who was more helpful than anyone else there. She explained that they had put charges on for £100, though I have had no notification of these charges. Still waiting for a break down in the payments made etc.
  4. So I received a reply today. A letter apologizing for the phone calls etc. (which I have accepted). Then I received another letter which I suppose is supposed to come from Sky Card themselves, (it is copy signed on behalf of Sky Card), but its not on headed paper etc. Suggestions?
  5. Letter sent today. Also just had them on the phone again (at 8:46pm)! Just out of interest, what should I do about the changes in amounts owed? 3 different amounts, with 2 in letters. Sorry to be a pain. Bazz
  6. Thank you, I will send recorded tomorrow
  7. Been around for some time, reading and learn, but now I have a problem. I owe Skycard some money, they forwarded this to CapQuest to recover the debt. I had been paying this off £10 per week, since Sept 2007 (only because I couldn't be bothered sorting it out). I had to stop payments, as I had lost my job, and thats where things started to get strange. Firstly, I have been receiving phone calls from them, arrogant and demanding money regardless of my situation. I have a Phone Harassment letter going out to them (recorded). Now I have recieve 2 letters, both have different amounts on them, I was also told that I owed them £319 (first phone call), the first letter stated £227.54 and the latest letter states £329.69 (not including the pay now or it'll be £409.69 with costs). Now I am in 2 minds of what to do, firstly, do I dispute the amount, or do I take the lower amount? Any other help would be grateful. Thanks Bazz

Received my first reply from them today. Basically, in a nut shell, they aren't willing to agree to the letter I sent out to the, but they have, 'as a gesture of goodwill' refunded me with one of my charges. I'll take it that my next course of action is to send a letter before action, which I shall do shortly. It is strange though, firstly they would only send me info on interventions that were done automatically, then they say that their charges are reasonable (as they would), then they refund 1 payment. If the admins would like a pdf copy of the letter I received, PM me and I shall send it. More to follow..............

My first post...................... After bumping into your site, I decided to do this, seeing that it is kinda of wrong. I have already been in touch asking for my complete transactions within the past 15 months, which have been given. I used the standard request for info from this site, and had a rather strange reply regarding 'manual interventions' It actually states that not ALL manual interventions maybe recorded. Anyway, I am just about to send my first request for monies to be returned, after a lengthy excel spreadsheet project but I hope all goes well. I have calculated that they have had £1404.23 inc interest etc. since 20th December 2004, and this is what I am looking at, going back further would probably take me that long, I'd have won the lottery by then. More to follow when I receive my first reply.
