I do remember you indeed! I think i'm going to leave my second claim for a while then, I do have a second account, but its only a cash card account with barclays, and I really need something with an overdraft, which I know I won't get anywhere else. I think I'll wait until I finish uni in October and get a job, I won't need my overdraft then. Thanks for the reply!

I'm hopefully going to be putting in a second claim for charges applied to my account after my first claim was settled. How likely is it that they will close my account? Thanks in advance!

I was on this site a while back, everything got sorted, which was fine. I've just had a look at my bank account, and I have an £81 charge pending. I'm going to phone and complain, however, how likely is it that they will close my account, and can I stop this from happening?

Got my money today! WOO HOO! If a mod reads this, can you add 'won' to the title and move to the appropriate forum, thanks!

***Straw Poll*** Going to court
RG001 replied to aardvark the lecturer's topic in Halifax Bank and Bank of Scotland
I definately would go all the way, however, as many have said, I haven't done the research that would be needed, but I would do it if it came to it. That doesn't mean I wouldn't be scared, I would be petrified! But yes, I would definately go all the way! -
Thanks phoenix. No money today, but it is the weekend. Will check on monday!

Sorry for lack of update. Basically they offered me 72.00 based on oft reccomendation guidelines. I replied saying I'll accept as part payment, but I want the rest. They have replied to me today saying no way! What do I do now? I said in my most recent letter that the next action I will take is MCOL, (effectively sent them an LBA alondside the rejection letter) shall I now do that, or do I have to wait a certain amount of time? Basically, is it now ok for me to start court proceedings?

Had a letter from DG solicitor offering all of my claim in full. I've accepted, confidentiality crossed out. I sent the reply back yesterday, any idea on how long it will be before I receive my money?
-
Still umming and Ahing about this one. I might wait and see what happens with my other claims first!

Sent my acceptance back today with confidentiality crossed out. How long before I get the money?

Waaaah! Sorry! I got you confused with a big pants that was on a wedding forum at the same time as me when I was getting married! If I wasn't married, I might proposition you
-
Big pants, might I know you from another forum of the wedding kind?

Finally got a letter this morning offering me 3621.64 full and final, confidentiality etc etc. I'm more than happy to accept, however, interst up to today comes to 425.84 bringing my claim to 3639.34. Is it worth asking for all of the interst? Or are they just giving me interest up until I started my MCOL?
