  1. Debt approx 6 years old.....Have been repaying it back monthly at a token payment to the original creditor.....they have decided to sell it on but i will carry on with the same DCA......It was taken out after 2007 .
  2. Been repaying the debt for a number of years to the original creditor.....They have decided to sell the debt on......The original creditor used a DCA and Cabot will be using that same DCA
  3. I have been keeping on top of a debt that I have had for a number of years but due to illness I have only been paying a few quid a month towards it as repayment. I have been doing this on time each month and ensuing the debt collection agency is continuously updated of my situation. Over the weekend I have received a letter that the debt had been sold on and that the debt collection agency I have been paying will continue the management of the account. I am aware to fill in income and expenditure forms and to keep the repayments all be it small (all i can afford back). Now as the debt has been sold on I am getting anxious about it saying will they go ahead and CCJ me etc.....I am paying what I can pay it. The debt has been sold on to Cabot and read about them how nasty they can be.....but they still using the debt collection agency to collect. Will they just carry on accepting what I have been repaying monthly or will they just go for the jugular. Its a few grand debt for a credit card and I am repaying what I can afford monthly back.....do they still go for the court process if you are committing to repay what you can afford back. How likely would they go for court option.....I am worried about my illness and dont need this worry on top. I am paying what I can back and dont need a fight with them. Your thoughts please????????????
