Thanks for your reply. I can confirm as follows: 1. Nothing in Contract of Employment relating to company car. 2. Company Vehicle policy as point 3. 3. Company Vehicle Policy states: All employees driving company vehicles, will be solely responsible for all motoring offences, such as speeding / parking fines and all penalties that are associated with a violation whilst you are in charge of the vehicle. I have checked the company policies and could not find any other documents relating company vehicles or dealing with PCNs.

Hi, The company I work for has received a PCN for an illegal right turn. The company claims they have never received the initial PCN so the charges on this was £130. The company has paid the PCN in full and is now trying to pass on the costs to the driver. My question is is there is anything that can be done to reduce the charges after it was paid any grounds to appeal to the council and if so should it be done by the company or the driver in order to pay the usual £65 charge that you can pay in the first 14 days if you receive the initial letter. Sorry if it's a bit confusing, and many thanks for any advice on this.
