Hi all, I do hope someone can help me. 1 bought a car October 2015, then sorn it within couple months to carry out work. In May 2016 I moved address, informing DVLA of my house move with my driving licence. In July 2016 I sold the car on a Sunday to a private buyer on eBay, on the Monday I sent off the documents to DVLA. In September DVLA sent 3 letters to my old address which I didn't have access to. last month I have managed to get hold of this post which one was informed I'd incurred fines for not taxing the vehicle. 1, the vehicle when I had was sorn 2, I no longer had the car I call the DVLA and explain all of this, to which they wanted me to put it all in writing, which I did and sent the eBay buyers name, as I had nothing else for the buyer. They then sent me a reply saying I am still liable to pay the fine because they haven't received the log book for that car. Without proof of postage how am I going to fight this fine as I have done nothing wrong. The car was sorn, so shouldn't need taxing then I sent the paperwork but they reckon they haven't received it. And didn't take any care in the world that I didn't have my post until couple months later so the fine has escalated. Someone please help, I will be eternally grateful
