  1. Lee - please can you call me today (Friday). I have sent you around 3 emails now with my contact details and would like to get this issue sorted today. thanks.
  2. Reference Number #8308824 Please can somebody help with this query - I will try to keep it simple. I was made redundant a couple of months ago. I wanted to keep my the mobile phone number I had with my company phone, as I had used this number for many years. Vodafone told me to contact my old company to ask them to request the transfer, which I did. The company sent me a form (which they presumably were sent from Vodafone) and said to complete my name, address and bank details, which I did. Without going into each and every detail, you can imagine that this process then went on for weeks - hours of calls with Vodafone, multiple trips back and forth to a Vodafone shop, being passed from pillar to post. Each time I was told there was some or other issue which needed to be resolved. This included being told I had failed a credit check, that I needed to contact Experian, and so on and so forth. Needless to say there was no issue with Experian and I then had to set about proving this to Vodafone. The issue is that, without my knowledge, Vodafone appear to have transferred the business contract from my employer to my personal ownership, for a period of two years, at a cost of over £48 per month! This is NOT what I requested, not to mention that now I am unemployed I would never have chosen such an expensive monthly charge. All I wanted was to be able to use my number, and as I already have a phone I can use, I wanted to sign up to a low cost, SIM-only tariff. Note that I have never received any information throughout this process from Vodafone, despite the calls, despite the in-store visits, to say that they were trying to sign me up to a two-year contract at £48/month. I never had the opportunity to choose a tariff, or a term. I haven't even been offered a phone, yet they have put me on their top tariff! I simply fail to understand how a simple request can go so badly wrong. Needless to say, I have had no luck from anybody at Vodafone, either through the online chat or over the phone or in store.PLEASE would somebody help to resolve this, before I have to resort to OFCOM / Ombudsman etc.? Thanks
