hi dx, thanks for your reply. this is there first attempt to close my complaint, they sent the £600.00 as a goodwill gesture, as I reminded them that they have taken nearly 86 days to fully comply with my sar request. I reminded them that they are using the fact that I had signed 18 of the (disputed.) Agreements, (osc/dlc). Then Why Cant I Use The Fact That They Have Sent Me 20 reformed Agreements, No Agreement numbers, My Name Is Not In The Proper box, J ust 20 Copies Of The Same Hire Purchase Agreement And There Terms + Conditions. So They cant Win Both ways, They Have Been Caught Out. What do you Think. regards ghandi

hi dx, brighthouse have sent the goodwill gesture for my time and inconvience, £600.00. They Have Said That They Will Bring This Matter To A Final Conclusion, And Close The Complaint. Can They close The complaint, I Have Not Agreed To Bring it To a Conclusion, I Accepted This Money As A Goodwill Gesture, Not A Conclusion. Can This Still go to The FOS. regards; Ghandi.

I Don't Have Any Old or Historic Agreements, When They Are Done With I Destroy Them. All The Reformed Agreements, Fall Into The 6 Year Ruling. ( A Company Must Keep A Copy Of Agreements For Audits.) All The T&C's And Paperwork They Have Sent Me, Are 19 Copies Of There Updated T&C's And A Summary Of The Payments Made. They Have Asked Me For Some Suggestions As To Bring This Mess To A Conclusion. What Do You Think. regards Ghandi.

Hi DX, I Received A Weird eMail From Brighthouse, Can You Advise Me As To The Legallity Of The following. Brighthouse; As You Would Have Been Provided With An Original Copy Of Each Agreement For Your Records, At The Time Of Signing For Each Item, We Believe That We Have Fulfilled Our Obligations By Proving You With A Reformed Copy Of Each Applicable Agreement. Am I Under Any Obligation To Keep Copies Of My Agreements, Just In Case The Company I Am Dealing With, Lose There Copy. Regards. Ghandi

hi everybody, i have been having problems with this company, so i sar'd them it took them over the 40 days to reply, but hey! this is brighthouse. they sent me a massive parcel of agreements which i am still getting through, but i have quite a few reformed agreements, as they explained they where having problems with the historical agreements. they also sent me a summary of payments, which includes payments on osc/dlc policies. i wrote requesting a full refund of all osc/dlc payments, giving them 20 working days to reply. they took a few days longer, but hey! this is brighthouse. in their response they gave me there final decision, and gave me three days from the date of there letter to respond. now the letter was 2 days late arriving, and it arrived on a friday. as for the reformed agreements, obviously there is not any signatures, but over 3k of charges. should i go for these first as the rest of the agreements are "work in progress" any ideas, as to the way forward. all help would be gratefully received. regards; ghandi.
