  1. Hiya charlotte The next time you see her mention this JSA Regulation. Wave paragraph 190 under her nose, if she gives you any grieff. Tell her you want her manager to explain to you why your advisor is not following DWP regulations......... Paragraph 190 usually shuts up most snotty advisors The extract below is taken from the Availability and Actively Seeking Employment chapter of the Labour Market Conditions Guide. 188. The JSA Regulations do not specify that claimants must keep written records of their job search. However, encouraging a claimant to keep a written record of the steps they have taken can help them to remember what they have done, and will help to build up a picture of the progress the claimant is making in their efforts to find work. 189. A claimant may have set up their own records, but if their record keeping is inadequate, or non-existent encourage them to use the Jobsearch Activity Log (ES4). 190. The evidence of jobsearch produced when they attend to have their regular reviews may be in various forms:  information they have provided from their Universal Jobmatch account; or  evidence in writing from employers, employment agencies, or other organisations which they have contacted; or  copies of letters they have sent to employers; or  the claimant’s un-corroborated written evidence. or  the claimant’s verbal evidence or  evidence from previous Jobsearch Reviews recorded on LMS. Clearly the DWP regulations say how you choose to provide your evidence is.... up to you. Print the extract and take it with you. Nimitz

Hiya Mr P Just a quick note..Ingeus is not a third party. They are a data processor for DWP, therefore they can have ones data if one is daft enough to provide it. Nimitz

Morning George You are correct, you do not have to sign anything on the work programme. You do not have to give them mobile numbers, email address, landline number also. DWP state that you are only obligated to provide them with your name and address.... THATS ALL......NOTHING ELSE. (Hmmm strange how Ingeus conveniently forget to tell clients) lol Nimitz

Morning Folks. If you withdraw your data consent, you will solve the problem of the Ingeus Works issue. Withdrawing consent removes Ingeus's ability to track, monitor, share and discuss your personal information with any third party..... think about it.... any employer advertising on Ingeus works site is a third party.. Therefore should they insist you sign up to Ingeus Works you should point out to your advisor that as Ingeus track/monitor their own site....he/she will be in breach of the Data Protection Act 1998..... and you will report them to the ICO........simplez.! Should anyone require the appropriate letter to withdraw consent let me know [email protected] Nimitz
  6. DWP dont want to know. Its Ingeus that want to know so they can claim £4000+
  7. Hiya Glad to see you did not sign the data waiver, excellent. As for the harassment from the advisor: write to the Ingeus manager informing him that you regard the phone calls and visits as harassment and that you will be writing to the DWP to complain, inform him also that you will report Ingeus to the police if there are any further visits or phone calls. They lied to you...they are NOT contracted by DWP to "up date their records" My friend had the same problem, once he informed them of the above actions they stopped harassing him. With the benefit of hind sight...you are only obliged to give Ingeus your name and address...ONLY.... you do not have to give them your email address and telephone number..(unless you want to) This link takes you to the Provider Guidance.."the rules of the game" created by the DWP, that Ingeus MUST follow.... it makes interesting reading, you may be surprised to know just how much power you have, but didn't know you had..lol http://www.dwp.gov.uk/supplying-dwp/what-we-buy/welfare-to-work-services/provider-guidance/work-programme-provider.shtml Nimitz
  8. Hiya Rob Regarding your question "How much info do I have to give Ingeus?" DWP rules state that you only have to give them your name and address, THAT'S ALL. You DO NOT have to give anything else ..NO email address, NO mobile no. NOTHING ELSE (unless you want to) Nimitz
  9. Hiya Rob You can remove your data consent which makes it illegal for Ingeus to contact any third party regarding you. (except DWP)... withdrawing consent is perfectly legal and within the DWP rules. It also means that when you find a job, Ingeus cannot acquire the details they require from your employer, which means they cannot claim any money.. This in turn means Ingeus wont waste their time on you and they will see you less and less. If you need a letter to with draw consent, let me know.. [email protected] Nimitz

Hiya Ruby "Low Life's"...lol .....funny,.... WP is low life central. Hiya Dont be worried, Just get to know the rules of the game, as they say. This link takes you to the DWP Provider Guidance...(the rules Ingeus must follow) have a read and you will be pleasantly surprised at what Ingeus can and cannot do..... http://www.dwp.gov.uk/supplying-dwp/what-we-buy/welfare-to-work-services/provider-guidance/work-programme-provider.shtml For example. All you have to give them is your name and address....... You do NOT have to give them your mobile, email etc...unless you want to. Do not sign the Data Protection waiver, its optional.. All action plans must be discussed and agreed with YOU. Not imposed on you..... etc etc The Provider Guidance makes very interesting reading...(of course Ingeus dont want you to know your rights) Nimitz

Hiya Ruby I secretly record every visit I have with Ingeus, (there are a number of cheap digital voice recorders on the market). I transfer all the conversations to the laptop afterwards. I know I should not have to record, however I hear so many bad things about Ingeus I like to cover my back...! Nimitz

Hiya Ingeus claim funding for your presence on the course. .... Sad really, you will have to sit there listening to some illiterate poorly educated fool. Its highly likely my cat has more intelligence than the fool you have to listen to. Nimitz

Hiya Its perfectly legal for the Work Provider to contact your employer, among other things. However it will become illegal once you have withdrawn consent. They will then require your written consent. Contact me at [email protected] I will forward you a withdrawal of consent letter, change what you need to, then give it Ingeus. its all legal and it will keep them of your back. Nimitz

Hiya Withdrawing your Data Protection consent will throw a legal spanner in the works, keep them away from you and your employer. If they gather enough info about your job they can claim thousands from the taxpayer. If you wish to withdraw your consent I can send you a template letter, alternatively you can find one on the "consent me " website. Nimitz
