  1. No I got rid of HB and paid the debts off myself. The claim states the claim against the defendant for the sum of £1800 due under account number ***** - £1800 assigned to the claimant by black horse ltd notice of which has been provided to the defendant. Fenton cooper sent me a letter enclosing a copy of the loan agreement signed by me but not dated, signed by black horse and dated by them on 2005. They've also included a direct debit form signed by me. They have provided a history print out by???? printed on 27-12-2012 listing payments from HB totaling £722.90. Starting in 2006 and finishing on 09-08-2011. They have provided a print out from black horse for 2005/6 showing missed payments and interest charges and payments and collection activity fees. Do I have to pay the total amount? I made payments totalling £200 but the interest charges just went up and up until they wrote off the debt at £2600 They wrote to me in Feb 2012 and I assumed it was SB so wrote back saying it was SB as the default had fallen off my credit file. They wrote back saying it wasn't SB. They provided these documents last year also and I contacted lloyds re PPI and they told me they had no record of my account so I ignored fenton cooper thinking they were trying it on. No this year they have sent the court claim?
  2. Could anyone help me with how to proceed. I had a debt which I thought was SB but the debt collectors have provided a spreadsheet showing payments from a debt management company. The debt is £1500 but with charges etc it is now £1800. The payments made are £800. What I would like to know is how do I proceed, do I defend the claim or do I have to pay the £1800. Can I ask the company to settle this out of court?
  3. Well I had a call from someone in work (don't know how they got that number) from someone asking about a debt which is years old. Now I believed it was statue barred and asked them to send me proof that I owed this debt as I know nothing about it. They agreed to send me all the paperwork and they sent me a copy of a signed agreement from 2004 and then payments made from harrington brooks. Now I do remember being with Harrington brooks but this was back years ago and everything has been paid off in full. They said the debt was paid up until 2010 but I still owed £2000, baring in mind the original debt was for 1500 and according to them payments had been made reducing the debt by £800. I heard off them last year around this time and I asked for the same proof and I also asked for proof from the original debtor who said they had no record of the account. In the credit agreement they've sent me a copy of it has all the PPI in it. The payments aren;t shown as coming from me. I've written to this company to ask them to prove the payments from harrignton brooks were from me (as I didn't trust them) and also a breakdown of any PPI etc. Well today I received a claim form from Northampton CC and it's for £1886.66 pus court fee £75 and solicitors costs of £80. I can't afford this. I have just finished paying everyone last year, defaults were due to drop off my account in 1 year and I|'ve been working on my credit rating after finally learning my lesson. I really thought I'd paid everyone and now this. I am terrified of a CCJ is there any way to settle something outside of court and get them to take off the PPI and charges. I could cry I've ruined my life.
  4. They got them from their sister company who called me offering me a non existant loan.
  5. I used a different bank to pay cash genie, I used my nationwide account and yes I had informed them to remove cash genies continuous payment authority. I also wrote to cash genie and told them I did not authorise them to take continuous payments. I paid them via bank transfer. They deceptively obtained my new bank details with santander which I knew nothing about.
  6. The complaint to the bank went in on the 28th Sep, my bills go out on the 1st Oct (today). Some are being supportive others not so much for the bills. Thankfully o2 agreed to roll my bill over to next month. The bank have been in contact they're investigating the matter and will be in contact shortly. I was only planning on asking the FOS for compensation, I don't really know how to ask for it? Do I list my charges and provide proof or just ask for compensation and let them decide the amount?
  7. I've written my complaint to cash genie, reported them to the OFT, FSA and FOS and I've completed a proper complaint form for the FOS and I'm waiting for the full reply from cash genie before I send it off. Can I request compensation from them? It's just I won't be able to pay a few bills this month so I will get charged interest and charges.
  8. It was agreed via email at the beginning of September.
  9. Yes it would have been fine if they had taken the outstanding balance which was agreed at 70 but they took 311 in charges which they've never asked for never broken down never said anything about. I'd already agreed with their debt collector to pay the 70 on the 28th of September, but they have decided to take more. I never thought a company would behave so badly.
  10. Ok thank you I have sent my complaint and they have said they will get back to me within 48 hours. I assume that will be working hours so I'll probably get some sort of reply "we are looking into it" on Tuesday.
  11. I don't know what to say. What lega proceedings do i need to issue?
  12. Santander will not do anything because I have dealings with the company, this is the 3rd time I've rung them. They point blank refuse to do anything for 15 days and then if the company refuse to give the money back they can try to purse it. I can't ring them anymore, so I've put a complaint in email vi my accounts secure messageing
  13. Santander, they told me to call back when it appears on my statement
