  1. Hello, Please remove or move to the relevant place if this is the wrong section. Today a unpleasant incident occurred involving myself. I am on the Ingeus Work Program and today i went to sign off to become self-employed. My advisor at Ingeus asked me when i have signed off to get the JobCentre to ring her. Then she could release the funding Ingeus have provided for me. I arrived at JobCentre and to be greeted by the front desk member of staff who ive had runs in with before. Hitler type of attitude. Along with two G4S guys. Anyway i filled book in to sign off and handed it over to the front desk guy. I requested he phoned my adviser to confirm i was there signing off. He refused to do so saying he cant do that and what was the money been released for. Even though that was confidential i told him why to be told the same. I whipped my sign on booklet away from his hands and requested to see another member of staff. Now he did not oblige to do carry out my reasonable request and ignored me for around ten minutes. He stated he was the floor manager at the time. Anyway after numerous ignores and me standing waiting at front desk i stated ok i will go and find someone to help me to provoke a reaction. At this point i made my way to a door and then was restrained by the GS4 staff. Escorted out of the building. Bare in mind i wanted to sign off. Anyway at this point i was seen to straight away by another member of staff in a private room. Who resolved my issue quickly. Now when i requested a grievance procedure form they had none and said to write it down on a a4 paper to which they supplied. Now i started to write it out and thought no this is wrong. Now this is my question who is the DWP Chief Excuetive? I know it was a Mr Darra Singh a few year back i believe he has now left. Any help would be grateful. I have had run ins with this person at the JobCentre before. So there is a conflict of interest so it would seem a reasonable request that they carried out my request to see somebody else. Im no longer on JSA and never hope to o back on it but i will still make this complaint to help others out there as he may have other complaints against him. Thanks Michael.

    Ingeus

I have a formal complaint in against Ingeus member of staff for bullying and harrassment. Its still on going but i dont mind will be signing off soon and if they think there going to sanction me and get paid for getting me a job they have another thing coming. Had a letter sent to a care of address apparently. To attend a Work Programme appointment with a interview suit on and paper CV with me. Well i never knew about this and the day before i get a text saying i have a meeting the next day we look forward to seeing you. (well i never signed the sharing of data paper so i dont know how they are sending me texts.) I turned up on time with regular clothes on to be met by a snotty advisor who stated i had a mock interview. I said i was not aware of this. However i was happy to proceed with interview which she declined to do. I stated it would be discrimination for a mock employer interview not to interview somebody who did not have a suit on for whatever reason. Also i said i like to research the companys i have interviews for as it looks good in interviews so how would i research a mock company? Anyway this is beyond the point. Since January 2014 i have stated i am going back to running my own business and been self employed with a projected start date of 1st April 2014. I need help with the book keeping side of things. I have had zero help until my last appointment where i stood up for myself fr my advisor to get snotty and report me to the DWP. Hence my complaint going in to Ingeus CEO. I am back up today so should be fun. I cant wait i love a game of verbal chess. The company rents a room out with around 8 advisors and seriously lacks privacy and confidentiality. I have noted this and been able to see other peoples NI numbers addresses is a recipe for fraud if your that way incline. No seperate rooms so even if you request one to one meeting it will be declined. I have them over a barrel and i will be the voice for the people who are not in a position to fight back.
  3. Thank you. So would i be able to do this myself as im not insured with the company anymore and not driving. Would i not need a legal representative to go through the process with me?
  4. Before i start if this is in the wrong section im sorry. Basically a stolen car hit my parked van which was a write-off. We have identified the the driver and he has pleaded not guilty. We are going through the MIB for compensation. My insurance company was not used to make a claim only to make them aware of it. Now according to the letter off MIB. If the MIB identify the insurer of the stolen car and the driver is convicted in court i can claim through the the third party's insurer (Innocent victim). The MIB would not be able to assist me if it came to this. Now is this true? and how would i make a claim for compensation from the insurer. I thought that's what the MIB did for me acted on my behalf to get compensation. That was the whole point of me going through them as i didn't want to lose my NCD, incur a accident in last 5 years and pay excess on the vehicle that was written off. I am rather confused so any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks Michael
  5. Hi, Yet more grief with the above company. This is more of a warning to you than asking advice. A stolen car hit my van which was a write off. I made a claim then decided to withdraw claim and use the MIB. Now before i ceased the claim i have been getting unsolicted calls from ambulance chaser company's. The only people who knew about the accident were the Police and the insurance company. I written a letter of complaint to Swinton head office in Manchester saying why have they passed my personal information on with out my consent and breaching the data protection act. This is the response they give word for word.(main juicy bits) I write further to your complaint received on the 25 September 2013 regarding the number of calls that you say you have recently received from Third Parties, who attempted to discuss any claims that you may have had. You believe that you are receiving these as a result of Swinton passing on your data to these Third Parties. The investigation has included discussions, with external suppliers and business partners who manage our customers claims on our behalf. As a result of these discussions it has come to light that there has been a breach of data, not only in respect of our customers but other companies as well. I would like to take this opportunity to reassure you that the breach is limited to claims details and is not as a result of any action by Swinton. I can confirm that this breach of data is in the process of being further investigated by the relevant authorities. In view of this i am unable to provide any further information at present. However, once concluded letters will be provided to those affected by this. I advise the information Commissioner is aware of this matter. That's the ins and outs of the letter. So just be on your guard with this company. Also there chasing me for cancellation charges on my insurance but im playing the i want answers to this debarkle first so i suggest you freeze the charges or write them off as a goodwill gesture. There passing the buck it seems and i firmly believe its there cock up and not a business partner of Swinton. Now why would the under writers want to get involved selling information seems to baffle me to. Can't be that much to be made from it and the risks out weight the results. Thats just my opinion. If this is in wrong thread please move and sorry in advance. Michael
  6. UPDATE HELP! Been to the CAB today and they were brilliantly useless. My concern is the log book on my vehicle states the following. model= transit td swb auto boby type= minibus taxation class= plg (Rang DVLA and all confirmed to be correct) Now when i was using price comparison website my vehicle came back as a Ford transit flareside when i entered number plate reg. So i manually enter the vehicle in but my exact logbook description was not available so i got the nearest i could. I have since made Swinton Insurance aware of this and they said i had to contact the DVLA. Now where do i stand on this. My van has side windows but no seats in it. I use it as a van. Will Swinton void my insurance over this? The price comparison website did not show minibus in drop down menu. It only had other which i did not select. I selected van. Finally i have done a quote with same description but selected other and my insurer Swinton did not give a quote in the quote page. Have i reason to worry? That i have nulled my insurance? Thanks in advance
  7. Oh this going to be complicated isn't it. Im not very knowledgable Compensation and Motor Vehicles http://www.cps.gov.uk/legal/s_to_u/sentencing_and_ancillary_orders_applications/#a02 The provisions of section 130 (5) PCC(S)A include damage to stolen motor vehicles. An order for compensation can only be made for damage resulting from an accident to a motor vehicle which was the subject of the charge. In Quigley v Stokes (1977) 64 Cr. App. R. 198, the defendant took a car without permission and while driving it collided with two other cars; all three cars were damaged. A compensation order was appropriate in favour of the owner of the car that had been taken without consent, but not in the case of the owners of the other two cars as there was no power in the Act. A compensation order can only be made in respect of injury, loss or damage due to an accident arising from the presence of a motor vehicle on the road if it is in respect of injury, loss or damage for which the offender was uninsured and for which compensation is not payable by the Motor Insurer's Bureau; or the defendant has been charged with an offence under the Theft Act 1968.
  8. Thank you people. You are really helping folk on here keep up the good work and give yourself a pat on the back. Karma will repay your kindness. I will keep you updated.
  9. Just looked on the form for MIB and there is no mention i can claim against a uninsured vehicle that hit my parked vehicle, Will keep looking.
  10. Hi, Update. The recovery agency are happy to release the vehicle once this has been confirmed by the underwriters. Rang around and the best price i can get for the van is £150 scrapped. Id imagine insurance will offer £600 - £350 excess so i would be down by £200 Will i still lose my ncd and will it be classed as a claim against me. Also the police have arrested 4 people with 1 outstanding with regards to the stolen vehicle. At what point do i inform the MIB or a solicitor to make a claim against the guilty party to recover my excess losses? Thanks in advance
  11. Hi, I cant sleep this is going around in my head. My vehicle was crashed into by a stolen car. Vehicle has been taken into storage by the insurance company waiting to be inspected. Can i claim back my vehicle at anytime, Would the insurers/ under writers allow this? As how i see this is they wont have to pay me for value of the vehicle or pay a engineer to assess vehicle, Plus less storage costs? If they would do this would they bring vehicle back to my property or would i have to get it as its miles away from me. Reason i want this is my excess is 350 pounds straight away and a local scrapyard has offered me £300 for it in scrap. So for me to break even the underwriters would have to offer £650 and tbh i cant see that happening. Thanks in advance.
  12. I had a similar issue and raised it in a complaint letter with Swinton in Manchester office and after a few letters managed to get cancelation charges wiped as a good will gesture. Go to your bank cancel direct debit with them. Then take all your money out. Thats what i did to protect myself
  13. I have a sneaky feeling the underwriters wont pay up, I have just did another quote on line with same details but changed to van variation to other. In the results page Swintons does not show up and give a price. However if i did this the 1st time around i would have found a cheaper quote by another insurer. If the insurance is invalid will i inncur storage costs and recovery costs of vehicle?
  14. forgot to add there are no rear seats in the van it is empty and used as a van, The windows on it may cause an issue, However i am sure the vehicle finding system should have picked this up. According to the system my van is a flat bed vehicle.
  15. Basically i used comparethemarket.com to get a quote. I put the reg of the vehicle in the search box and it came back as a totally different vehicle. So i manually put the vans details in and even then there was no match for my exact vehicle. I have told Swinton this and they told me to contact the DVLA. To which i did, they told me the system they use was correct and my vehicle matched there records so that leaves me thinking that comparethemarket.com system is wrong. Now this is the juicy bit. I have had to make a claim as a stolen vehicle has hit my vehicle. It will be written off no doubt. Will my insurance be invalid if there is a difference in the wording of my vehicle body description? I have a 1997 ford transit td swb transit (minibus) it is insured as a 1997 ford transit 100 76hp semi hi roof (nearest accurate description i could find.) Im stuck in the middle to what to do. DVLA are happy and there system is fine, Swinton are saying DVLA are wrong and i think whatever system Comparethemarket use is wrong. Please help and advise and thank you all for reading and helping. Michael
