  1. Hi Andyddg I was also with Iresa, and am in the same position as yourself, when I received my final bill, my gas consumption for July was 1400 cubic meters, I don't us that in a year!. I clicked on the disagree button and supplied them with my meter readings for Gas & Elec, and also queried the electric readings as I have had a smart meter fitted and have solar panels, yet according to the meter I have used 1200KWH in 40 days, something not right there, and have been informed that the meter may not be set correctly and is charging me for power generated as well. In response to the bill they have sent me an offer of £97 ish, but haven't attached any bill or breakdown of how this was arrived at, so I have requested it and also asked where my payment taken in August has gone? My Iresa account is still active, and I have downloaded the last 12 months of bills, if you can do that it will give you an indication of your consumption and allow you to compare what they are saying you have used, and also give you the ammo required to challenge them. As for the DCA threat, I think it would be a foolish move on their part whilst the final bill is in dispute. Hope that will help you in some way. Paul9
  2. Quick update on this. Wife has today received an email, charge has been cancelled on appeal. Paul
  3. My wife has today received a PCN from Parking Eye stating that a car registered in her name was in a motorway services car park for over 11 hours! This has come about because the driver has entered the services area via the service road, at 7:07 to access the motorway, they have therefore not parked at all. they have then entered the services again at 18:32 and left via the service road. Looking at the photos it would appear the 1st one is of the rear of the car and the 2nd one is of the front, I would have expected that the 1st should be the front, entering and the 2 the rear, leaving. What is the best course of action with this, I could prove, with witnesses that the car was not in the carpark for that long, as it was 70 miles away on a construction site. would I be best to ask PE which cameras the photos are from or just point out that the car couldn't have been there and I have witnesses to refute the photos. All help and advice would be gratefully appreciated, I have attached the letter received. Thanks Paul PCN Parking Eye.pdf
  4. ims21 Thanks for that, you are right the £17k is incorrect i have used the wrong spreadsheet, i used the Credit card one with compound intrest. still, it will still be a tidy amount though. Paul9
  5. How far back can i reclaim on PPI, as i have just recieved some old loan agreements, following a SAR and after doing a quick calculation using the reclaim spreadsheet on just the first 2 of them it comes to about £17K, assuming i have done it right. I have read that it is more difficult to reclaim pre 2005, and was just wondering what to expect as a reply from the company when i send them the letter. Here are the facts Took a loan in Augs 02 £429.52 Single PPI, refinanced this in Dec 03 £1048 PPI, good chance of mis sell as had been diagnosed Diabetic and i was working for an employment agency, as a contractor. Refinanced again in May 04, £813.86 PPI. never asked about any medical history. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.
  6. Cerberusalert Thanks for that. That is what i thought, so i send the SB letter and await their response then, and in the mean time continue paying the DEO though the company. Assuming the reply saying exempt as they seem to think they are. what would be my next action. Also does anyone know of a template letter to send requesting all info, statements etc, as i seem to remember a statement showing a £0.00 balance in about 2001. Thanks Paul9
  7. Cerberusalert Thanks for the quick reply, should the company continue to pay the DoE, as all the paper work says they can get fined. also just rang them to get the dates it is for and its from 1995 to July 2000. Should prehaps mention that my Partner owns the company, and she is terrified by these types of things.
  8. I am in the same boat as susieq097, my employer recieved a letter asking if i worked there and how much i earned per month, last year and then issued a Deductions of Earnings to them with lots of paper work saying its an offence to not comply blah blah. I have not heard from the CSA since 2000 and the first was when my boss told me. When i rang them it turns out its for my 2 oldest who are now 23 & 21, so my question is can i tell my boss that i should not be paying this, as they are taking 40% of my wages after tax, and have been for nearly a year, or am i now stuffed as they will simply say the SB clock has been reset. All comments and info appreciated as this is crippling me.
  9. Sorry to hijack this, but i have been getting letters of these muppets for about a year, and have just ignored them. So reading the posts above am i right in that a SLC debt pre 98 can become SB, and would that be from when the last payment was or when they sent the Default Notice. Thanks
