  1. Something to do with the air conditioning. Everytime it's on it's making a terrible noise, and the noise gets even worse when pressing the accelerator. At first it was only when the A/C was on but the more I used the car, the more the noise started to happen even if A/C off. Wen it's off, it's not as bad but still shouldn't be there.
  2. Hi there, I bought a 2nd hand car in Robins & Day in Hanwell. It is a Peugeot 207 dated from 2007 and 30000miles, early June. Within the first 2 weeks a bunch of issues came up, 3 small ones and 1 big one. The procedure took over 2 months and I was told: -The 1 year warranty doesn't work because the warranty people say that the problem was there when I bought the car -The sales department refuse to pay because the problem wasn't there when i bought the car. I paid this car £6000 and I did not cause those problems. Why should I be paying for it? The funny thing is, the warranty accepted to cover 1 of the small problems, the sale department 2 of the small one and of course no one want to pay for the big one. And the 3 small problems have only been fixed yesterday. Meaning it took 3 months for them to do something. Now I want to fight the fact that they refuse to fix the biggest problem, which, I am sure, the more I use the car, affects the rest of the car and will cause other parts to fail soon. Any suggestion?
  3. Hi, I just bought a car off a private owner (a week ago). ***Turns out that the side mirrors are electric, HOWEVER, the button that is supposed to be on the left hand side of the driver, to adjust the position to the driver, is missing. By missing I mean it has NEVER been there. (The car is V reg, 1999). I went to peugeot this morning who confirmed that it is missing and that my mirrors are electric. So my question is, although the car is old and not under guarantee anymore, shouldn't peugeot install it for free? ***My 2nd problem is it turns out that the central locking is broken. I have to lock every single door manually. Which to me isn't a problem. HOWEVER, the boot is only electric, meaning I have to spend a lot of money to fix the central locking in order for my car to be secured. I was wondering if it is legal? It doesn't seem right to me. There should be a back up way to close that boot manually. Would anyone be able to clarify all this to me please? Many thanks
  4. i sent them my iphone 3G, works perfectly, no scratch or anything. It was quoted £134. They received it fine but emailed me saying they are willing to offer me £0. Of course they put no reason so I get angry. Try to call, no one picks up the phone. I email them and I do get a reply saying my phone is STOLEN and therefore they cannot offer me money for it NOR send it back to me!!!! Are they kidding?!! I replied back with my thoughts on the situation and that I've had this hone for a year and half, and was using it as pay as you go. i bought it off a friend (who is still a friend and has a 3GS now) and he never declared it stolen or lost. Plus this phone, when he sold it to me, was not attached to any provider anymore, so there was no way to declare it stolen. I also asked for a proof of what they said, they replied back that they pretty much don't care and of course didn't provide proof. I replied again, 6 days ago and still no answer. I am definitely going to Trading Standards. Tks for this forum topic.
