when I was a student, I have a credit card since 2006 which is issued associate with my current accout at Lloyds TSB, but never used this credit card. I hardly use my TSB current account very often too since it's not my main account. In 2007, I moved to another place and forgot to change my TSB address. I thought i dont use this account and there is no money in the current account, so it won't be troubled. However, i forgot i have a credit card with them. So someone used the credit card, and i got a default on this! I just realise this recently on my credit report, since recently i started to understand how the credit works. The credit card is closed by Lloyds TSB. I have been written to them to explain this and ask for remove the default notice from my credit report, also experian asked TSB to carry out fraud investigation on this as well. I'm just wondering if i have a chance to win this case, how long does it normally take to clear my credit history?
