im confused again wait, so if i tell you my details can you possibly give me some insight at what im dealing with? i am 22 years old male, i am currently on jobseekers allowence, im looking to rent a flat/house from a land lord, am i entitled to one and how much, and also what do i need to move to the next step? -

oh thanx for that im starting to understand it a bit better now so 1.the councell tax place sorts all that kinda stuff out..jot the jobcentre..2.i clicked the link you give me and done that calculator test, im a single guy, so im only entitled to 1 bedroom house/flat, also it shows they will pay me 80 pound per week so its like 320 pound a month, so i hope i can find one in that price range -
Im looking at properties because i want my own place really badly, so im seeking accommodation from a landlord, i know most want a bond up front, so if i get the bond money myself, and say move in to a house, would the jobcentre take care of the rest for me I.E pay my rent each month? also if they will, how/who do i speak to about that?

Esa Appeal turned down, can't claim Jobseekers allowence help me!!!
21muk replied to mandyjay's topic in Benefits and HMRC
tell them your healthy enough, and you would be able to look for work..sign on..get jobseekers allowence..clearly you wont actually be out there looking for work, but you just tell them you have been..the majority of people lie when they go sign on..not many people actually contact 6 employers every fortnight -
first offense, should be around a 2 week sanction...second possible 4-6 weeks..and third..strike and your in trouble..my third i got a 6 month sanction..i begged..pleaded..and luckely they droped it to 3 and a half month..my advice to you is, play there game..play there tune..i know its hard sometimes..but while they are paying you money..you seriously just need to jump hoops for them and keep them as sweet as possible.as far as not applying for jobs because your under qualified for them..who cares?you have nothing to lose then do you..just go to the interview/apply for it..rather than not apply for it and have the jobcentre on your back

that's what i thought Vicky i found it strange myself, but that's the two options he give me..i just called them, and guess what, apparently there was a problem with my payment..absolutely ridiculous honestly, if i diden't call them today, id literally be sat waiting for ever.., basically she said your application was successful, but then some where down the line something went wrong, we apologize for this, then she said, you will have to be issued with a new payment, we will give you a call with in the next 2-3 hours, and hopefully your money will be put in to the account without any further problems..ffs ive been waiting since friday...its now monday, and still its not 100% sorted out anyways thankyou x
