  1. To draw a line under this - I normally have no problems so therefore before using the product I would not have known which chemical was to cause a reaction. I am going to continue using Avon products, but not for my face. Its a shame that the only responses I have received have been constructive criticism and not constructive advice.
  2. I wasn't looking to sue, and yes perhaps I should have given some more info, all I was looking for was some advice about how to get little more from them to cover the cost of the products I had to use to soothe my skin. I am not stupid enough to use an item again if it causes inflammation. Sorry that no-one was able to help, only rant!!
  3. Hiya, I hope someone may be able to help me. About a month ago I had a nasty reaction to a facial wash which I purchased off Avon. The long and short of it is that for over a week my face was very sore and dry. I sent the product back through my agent and then filled in a form detailing what happened. They have written to me offering me £10 to go towards the cost of purchasing washes to help it heal. I wrote back saying it was an insult - however they are still only offering the £10. Can anyone offer me any advice on this? Thanks.

  7. Hiya all., Have rung the legal department and have been given the name of the person handling my claim. Unfortunately they never seem to be there when I phone, and despite the fact that I leave my number they are not contacting me back. I know I have a week before my court bundle needs to be in, but I would appreciate some advice or should I just keep calling, but then I run the risk of them getting fed up with my calls and going to the wire. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Caz.
  8. No one is impersonating you - I put my Avatar on when I joined in June 06 - it just shows what great taste we have - and I am presuming you have GGs too. Caz

  11. Hi Guys., A little bit of help please! Happy New Year to everyone - haven't posted for ages and have kind of switched off. My court date is 2nd Feb, should I be the one to contact Barclays and say "look I have waited this long can you pay me like now". or Will they approach me, towards the end of this month. Regards., Caz
  12. Hi all, Just to keep you informed I have had my dates for the court hearing it is 2nd February 2007 at 10.00am. This will make it approx. 8 months from when I sent the first letter to the bank requesting my money back. Well at least I now know when it will be and that hopefully I will get my money at the end of January. Caz:smile:
  13. Hi M4N I will definitely keep you informed my court is Telford, so it will be interesting to see the differences between your area and mine. Caz
  14. Thanks - just done that and apparently they are waiting for the District Judge to sit and I should get the update within the next week. Thanks for your help - M4n Caz
