  1. Hopefully it's just a clerical error, I just went through the PIP process and I don't have the mental strength to fight the DWP again. I'll post back on here in the morning when I have spoken to them.
  2. I am in the support group of ESA but I just checked my bank account and I have randomly received a payment of £125 when I am not due a payment till the 14th, it's also marked as JSA and not ESA (not the first time a payment has been marked as JSA). I tried to ring them but I was a few minutes late as they close at 6pm. Obviously this is worrying me, can they take you off ESA and put you on JSA? or is it likely a clerical error?
  3. Yes, but due to being signed off work I wasn't able to pay them each month and I was told to send them a CCA but I was obviously misinformed and feel like an idiot now.
  4. Does a recon mean if this was taken to court it would be enforceable?
  5. Do you have any medical evidence with treatments etc?
  6. Hello everyone, I got a letter yesterday from Newman Debt Collection Agency saying that I owe EBAY £28.94 which I don't because I stopped using EBAY a long time ago and I had no fee's to pay. I know it's not a debt to get worried about but what letter do I send to them to send me proof that I owe EBAY money?
  7. That is one of the issues she has, she has an anxiety disorder and rarely leaves the Village in but I have emailed the court to see what we can do.
  8. Hello everyone, I am writing this on behalf of a friend of mine who apparently owes the court £450 over a TV license fine. She has had a tv license for the past 3 years and has paid it in full, the original fine is still being taken out her ESA Phillips have now issued her with a Notice of Attendance and is getting really worried, she is currently on disability benefits so she is struggling with finances. Would any one be willing to offer any advice on how to deal with this problem? Any advice would be greatly appreciated
  9. Hello everyone, In July 2010 I was having severe financial problems and I was having problems paying my Orange contract and I ignored it for about 8 weeks and I eventually got a debt collection letter from Orange and there was a number on the letter so instead of calling the agency I called Orange directly instead and I explained everything to them and they were very understanding and they said that I could pay so much a week and for a few months I paid it but then things go even worse for me (Mental Health Wise) and I phoned them again and explained and they said to me that they will pull the file away from the DCA and let me pay off as much as I can and when it's paid off they will close my account. Orange have been brilliant and a year later I managed to get it all paid off and they told me that they will take the default off my credit account and replace all the late payment markers etc to either a Q or another letter so that it did not have an adverse affect on my credit score. Now this is where the problems start, in October of 2011 I received a letter from CapQuest demanding the £137 that was outstanding even though it was cleared off in the summer so I emailed Orange again and they said it was their fault it happened and that they are going to call it back but after checking my credit report today with " Check My File " they have put a default on my report and they shouldn't of done it, it's only on Call Quest, not Experian, Equifax etc This is what it says " The account has been satisfied. The payment status has been reported as in default. " What can I do, I have emailed the Orange credit department telling them of this, I have also emailed CapQuest but I doubt they will reply. Where do I stand legally with this? Any help or advice would be appreciated.
