b3ckford replied to b3ckford's topic in Payment Protection Insurance (PPI)
Just got a letter back from Lloyds rejecting my complaint and said its there final decision. so off the the FOS i go. will update with progress once i hear from the FOS. Its going to be a long one -
I suppose my only option now though is to wait and see what there final response is?
-
Hi Guys, What do you think about this response letter? This is the response I got from Black Horse, 1 week within the 8 week deadline Are they correct in saying I cannot go to the FOS? Any Help appreciated

Any idea when lloyds where regulated? -
Im in the same boat as you more of less. PPI re- claims have been submitted post iva so will let you know how i get on. Mine completed in december and i have got my certificate of completion in march. It might be a good idea to wait till you have your certificate because otherwise any claims you make that are succsessfull, your creditors will no doubt put it towards outstanding as no certificate has been created therefore they still think theres outstanding balances. If that makes sence

Just spoke to them on the phone, you where correct, they lost it in the post, even though it was signed for typical. they said they will write to me in 5 working days. -
Here is the Original Agreement this is a front loading PPI premium? From my calculations I make it around £774 before 8% interest. Is that right can someone have a look at it for me?
-
Ahh yeah thats the one. One account I was happy with the ppi settlement as it included the 8% interest and matched the figure i got from my paperwork. The other is this one, the fos is dealing with. They have wrote to me through 2010 with updates that they are investigating and need more time. The last letter i have from the fos is that "sorry its taken so long will have an update by 31st may 2011" "due to the complex nature of the issues involved" Thanks for your help, will look at the links you provided.
