Once a warranty runs out then it is down to you to pay for repairs etc...you could take to a local tv repair man? Have a look at your hire purchase agreement and see if there is anything there that you may be covered for? -
Maybe contact citizens advice bureaux they will be able to give you more help!

What Made You Want To Swear Today?

How the minimum wage gets halfed when you work as a carer. Takes a really special person to want to work with people who need care and all we get is half an hours wage per call.....would need to work 80 hours a week to be able to keep a roof over my head. How waitrose put up my brand of cigarettes to way more than my local shop.....waitrose used to sell them 3p less but now sell them about 60p more whereas in the local shop they sell them 10p more only. -

harrassment....?

I totally agree with you about living in peace and this is something that my landlord does not do at all. Keep all the records you have as you may want to take him to court....the police will do nothing unless he harms you. Unfortunately the police see this as a civil matter and will not help unless he was to physically do you harm. I do not like problems either but there are some people who make matters worse for themselves by being constant harassers and bullies. Who will not address a situation? -
My simple advice to you is to contact the citizen advice centre also check to see whether or not you have paid protection against you in your agreements for unemployment.

As to the tenancy agreement normally they only run for six months and then they go into a periodic tenancy. Your landlord does not have to give you a new notice but he can make rent increases. Your local housing office should have a housing information book that will help you understand how the laws work.

Housing benefit advice please please
tenants Super replied to Housinghelp's topic in Benefits and HMRC
You need to contact the local job centre or maybe go to the citizen advice centre to ask for more help. They will inform housing benefit of the situation and council tax. You will not have to be forced to pay anything further and seek somewhere else to live if it is becoming too much. You are not subjected to stay with your parents whatever the situation is...?
