  1. Today I have received a £60 parking fine from Uk Parking Administration Office Ltd Pudsey for parking without a valid permit or authority. My family own a pub and I have a permit to park in the car park. I have realised today that there are two seperate companys who man this car park, so it looks like my permit is limits to three spaces right at the back of the pub. Those spaces were full today so i parked very near by at the side of the pub. They are threatening that if i dont make the £60 payment wthin 10 days they will contact DVLA to get my details and fee's will increase to £3 per day and will be added until court action is taken. They then threaten that they will contact a bayliff and debt collection agency. I also notice on the ticket that they say I have been parked in church street, which it is not it's barrow street. I'm unsure how to go about this and have read some sites that advise to ignore all contact. Its quite a worry and I would like to know if anyone can advise me on what to do please Many thanks
  2. Sorry to barge in. I have phoned tax credits a number of times now and i'm getting different answers from them, so really confused . Hope you can help. I understand what you are saying above but tax credits are saying a little different to this for me.. They are working it out as still basing it on my full salary, not the amount it will drop while being on maternity. example. Due to go on SMP April 2010 for 25 weeks. Normal basic salary 23000 23000 - 2500 = 20500 So I will be getting tax credits for that year worked out on a annual salary of 20500. Now I thought it would work out like this as this will be the salary I will get from April 2010 25 weeks of SMP = £576.50 (this is based on SMP figure for 2009, £123.06). 27 weeks of normal pay = £442.30 per week x 27 = 11942 so total salary for 2010 minus the £100 each week ignored for SMP is = £12518.50 If anyone can clear this up for me I would be so grateful, thank you andrea
  3. Thank you for replying. That link is very helpful thank you. I'm still struggling to work out my smp weekly payments with tax credits though. Does anyone know how to do this please? thanks
  4. I am 10 weeks pregnant (due jan 8th 2010) with my 2nd child and struggling to work out tax credits. I will be receiving company maternity 14 week 100% pay (23000 annual salary) and then 25 weeks of SMP (123.06 per week). I have one child already who was born July 2001. I'm worrying about the SMP pay and need to know around about how much tax credits I will be eligable for when on SMP. Does anyone know how to work this out please? I read something about deducting 100 off salary?
