i am having problems getting a refund from Capital finance for additional funds they withdrew from my bank account. I have sent several emails which are unanswered spoke to spoke to someone on friday and yesterday who assured me the accountant had looked into and refunded £95 back into my account. The problem i have is that due to their unauthorised withdrawal i am now overdrawn and will be charged fees for an unpaid direct debit. It has cost me over £10 in phone calls to them and that dosent include the time wasted in trying to get through to them as they do not answer the phone very quickly. Is there anyone legally i can threaten them with who will pursue them for me?. I really dont think it is fair that they can treat customers in this way and get away with it. It is us that suffer.
