  1. I hope this is appropriate place to put this comment, question. I have found myself in a similar position (unenforceable agreement, they of course wont acknowledge this) have stopped paying and now getting letters threatening action. My question is what should I do now? If I dont pay any more presumably this will have a bad impact on my credit? can they get a CCJ? what can they do to me? In a nut shell and scared to keep stop paying for fear of what will happen..help?
  2. Thank you Mustang67 interestingly that was my next question. I have paid the first six months of this years maintenance fees and the paperwork says that I have to give 6 weeks notice to end my membership, if I notify them this week of my intention to leave (giving them 6 weeks notice) they have told me I still have to pay the remainder of the year. Can they do this? Is this legal? Are the agreements in anyway lawful or forms of agreement. The agreement does not state one way or the other whether the full year has to be paid if membership is ended.
  3. Please help! I have Club La Costa points for 8 years. Each year I pay my maintenance fees. This year the bill came through in Euros, because at the AGM it was decided. My paperwork stated the value in pounds and pence can they do this?!?!?! Thanks so much in advance.
  4. Hi I also have a Virgin card (MBNA) with an outstanding balance of £4500 have sent for the credit agreement and was sent back a 2 page what looked liked a scanned document. I have sent them the second letter 14/2/09 very kindly posted on this site "account in dispute" have recorded post evidence - they have not replied, what can I do now? Thanks x
