  1. Thanks Dotty just couldn't navigate my way round to start a new thread thats why I sued this one that I already subscribe to. However, does the innacurate calculation regardless of whether they are being generous or mean invalidate the notice?
  2. Help with default notice calculation. Hfc have sent me a default notice dated feb. 2 2011 and date required for settlement is given as feb. 25 2011. Allowing 4 working days for second class mail and thereafter counting 14 calendar days means that the date for enforcement falls on feb. 22 not 25. Can someone help me?

  4. R&J does that mean they can be sued for providing misleading information under the consumer protection act?
  5. Thanks Ukaviator for the input. seems I've spotted your remarks also on moneysavingexpert. Does it mean I should write to the ministry of justice to complain about them, or are they in fact working for them?

  11. Thanks Alanalan, Sorry for not coming back earlier. Just wondering which specific information is still required for a calculation? And what is payment 1 and payment2?
  12. I took a loan with HFC. Total amount plus ppi 10552.31 at 27.9% APR over 72 months. Total amount payable after 72 months would have been almost 20000. I have challenged the PPI and put in a claim. By the way the account is now in dispute over some technicalities. They cannot issue a copy of the executed agreement and those they've tried to send me all have wrong figures! In response to my PPI claim they wrote and said; I am prepared to offer you an ex-gratia payment of 2536.77 in full and final settlement of your complaint against HFC. This amount includes the 8% interest. Please help me discover if this offer right. They're also going to deduct it from the loan balance. Please any ideas.
  13. Thanks silver fox. I just need more info on what procedures to adopt. Anyone please.
