Hi dx; just received another offer from Nat.Westmister Bank that upon further investigation into my previous claim which they have already settled ; they claim to have found further errors and have made another offer again ; but wish to offset this payment to my CCJ default balance ; I know you have made a response to the same after the initial offer was made ; does the same written response stand or are there any new information on the issues of offsets by these banks ; the CCJ is being paid off .Thanks Knights templar

  3. dx ; Thanks for clarification and doubts but is there any where I can get publication of the GISC code and AES code and regulations as it pertains to PPI to read or do you think we would be wasting our time and efforts and therefore should just back down from our claim . Thanks knights templar
  4. dx; Thanks for your response; YES did inform FOS and completed application form ; an officer rings on Tuesday to say it will be difficult to resolve because their problem is that application was made through an agent or third party but will in get in touch with Consumer loans Ltd but we did not submit any spreadsheet for our claim . Rung FSCS this afternoon soon after your response; to inquire whether an application would be considered ; was told by officer on phone that since our claim or insurance policy of PPI was issued in 1990 it is not likely they will entertain my claim ; are they correct or it is another poly to FOB us Off as usual ; this is really disappointing ; sorry to bother you again .   5. Dx; Perfect response ; Yes the amount of the loan was for £9075 and there was a signed consumer credit agreement between ourselves and the original creditor ; but not quite sure what le&m and fscs means sorry for the ignorance ; can you please HELP . Thanks Knights Templar
  6. dx; no thread on this issue on this thread ; details as follows ; made a claim for a PPI refund to consumer loans ltd the original creditors via an agent called Express Loans and Mortagges f rom what I understand this company has ceased trading ; the loan was a secured loan on our property of high rise council flat ; PPI taken out on loan ; l oan paid off as a result of sale of property ; made a claim for PPI ; liability rejected by original lender; thus seeking to know whether original lender is correct in repudiating liability as agent made the application and accepted with PPI payments .   7. dx ; original creditor refused PPI claim application on grounds that since application and advice was made through an agent ; cannot therefore accept liability for PPI claim ; although evidence shows that original creditor collected premiums. knights templar

Hi dx100uk, Received received from Nat West Bank ; upon SAR request ; that Nat West Bank unable to locate loan agreement and documents ; although a judgement debt have been obtained at county court by Nat.West Bank and debt being paid by instalments; is it possible to challenge NatWest Bank to produce loan agreeement and documents in court otherwise debt cannot be enforced by Nat West Bank . knights templar
  10. Hi; ims21 Sorry for the confusion ; indeed this is all very confusing but it is not; two aspects to this thread one for HFC Bank and one Nat. West. Bank ; Nat West Bank made an offer of £2000.00 said they would offset this against loan repayment after my default ; wrote to them that this was unacceptable no response yet; sent SRA to seek basis of calculation ; response received today that they cannot trace loan agreement and that other documenttion would despatched to me in due course. Claim 2 ; aganist HFC; HFC refused to accept claim ; therefore complained to ombudsman ;they made an offer of £65.00 through Ombudsman but again offer on condition that to be offset against default loan repayment ; later SRA HFC ; no response ; ombudsman looking into matter as there is basis for calculation of £65.00. You are therefore correct both Banks have not provided any basis for their calculations merely an offer which I am tempted to say this cannot br right ; I am therefore the basis of their offer challenge after you have made your comments. knights templar

West Bank today ; Nat West Bank unable to trace my loan agreement may send available information in the near future ; Nat West Bank state ; if not satisfied contact ombudsman ; any ideas how to approach this or contact ombudsman for further investigation. knights templar:?:
  12. ims21, Sent SAR to Nat. West Bank ; just received a response from Nat West Bank ; after I had highlighted to them inadequate documantation they hold on me ; their response was unable to locate loan agreement ; they claim as they were unable to locate loan agreement ; we would therefore have no documents available apart from insurance added to the account. What should my next move be ? They conclude if I was not satisfied I should contact the Financial Ombudsman. knights Templar:?:

Hi ims21 ; Received response from HFC Bank after sending SAR request ; they require an identity specification like a driving lience or a passport; frankly I do not drive and do not wish to send them my passport ; I wish to write back and tell tham that ; that my correspondence with them should form the basis of an identification profile; also the FOS wishes that I accept HFC offer ; but they sent a poor illegible breakdown with the excuse that they FOS ; cannot investigate anything more than 6 years; Is this ifo correct ?
