  1. I have been to Surrey Quays Shopping Centre car park a few times. Not only it is FREE to park (unless your car parked over a parking box, then it suddenly becomes a £100 fine), but as the centre manager, Ian Moore, is quoted in the article below saying: Signage within the car park does meet requirements, however, additional signage is being installed within the next week to improve visibility further. - that ultimately means that EVERYONE, who has been given a fine prior to that date of instalment MUST BE given a FULL REFUND, as the signage did not meet the requirements. However MET Parking Services were still scaterring fines on car windows.Southwark News - News
  2. Additionally: Create a post named Parking Tickets Company Companies with all known to us PPCs' full and abbreviated names, i.e.: Abstact Parking Company APC Ballooney Parking Solutions BPS Cuckoo International Parking Enforcement CIPE ... etc. Then below something like: If you have found this page via Google or other internet search please do not reply to this post but read this - (links to Letters and background information). If you want to post your question and register follow this links - (Register and the Current Top page of the forum links). Then in RED the warning not to post any private info that can identify them. Put this one up on the Sticky, so it always stays on top.
  3. What's the outcome? Are you still dealing with MET?
  4. Dear Jodieluke if search this forum you will find the threads of people who actually won this silly fight with PPCs. First, do not stress yourself, second read again the sticky. If it was me, I'd say something like this (IF ANYTHING AT ALL): Sir/Madam Re: Your letter dated [dd/mmmm/yyyy] Reference[#] I refer to previous correspondence.I see that you continue making statements that contradict the Contract Law upon which you are basing your claim. I deem this very unreasonable of you in regards to this matter. I have asked you to provide evidence to substantiate your claim against me and you have not done so. I feel that I have done all that I can to assist you. Unless you provide evidence to substantiate your claim against me I shall be unable to help you further in this matter. More so if this case you will have to explain to the judge why you have failed to provide the evidence in a timely manner. This alleged debt therefore still remains disputed by me. Save for supplying the evidence referred to above I must ask you to cease and desist correspondence with me. Let me reiterate that, other than as described above, any further correspondence from you or any other party in relation to this matter will result in me making a complaint to the police under the Protection From Harassment Act 1997 and very probably Extortion of Money. Yours faithfully
  5. It is a free shopping centre car park. The person's car wheel was over parking box line. It is a total [problem], I checked their signage and in my opinion it is designed NOT to be visible, but that's a longer argument then the one I am pusuing. I want help that person to get out of it as they take it a bit more serious rather then for what it is - Dutch lottery, so popular in the 90's.
  6. Thanks, Tiglet, for the link. Meanwhile, I see if the Google will produce the results. If it's a company it has to be registered and be listed in some directory.
  7. Thank you. Now, just noticed the sneaky b****rds only gave a PO Box address on their invoice - registered or recorded will not be accepted by Post Offic if it's a PO Box address. Need to find where this PPC is actually based and send it to their actual office.
  8. Would you send replies to PPCs recorded? The proson, I am looking into the for is literally watching their pennies. My only concern is, knowing the lying [problem] we up against, PPC will just deny ever receiving it. Cheers in advance!
  9. @ jasonstickstirrer. No, you were not involved in starting the Iraqi war. But your statement: "If private parking is such a [problem], why hasn't the government done anything about it?" is invalid on the basis that, IF the government is not doing something about something illegitimate, THEN it does make it legal. See - LOGIC. This post is for the benefit of newcomers, so they don't listen to yours and your other Log-In ID's cr4p.
  10. Bookworm, it is your decision. However, here is Wikipedia's definition (others may want to look it up in their Oxford dictionaries): "Moron was originally an English scientific term, coined in 1910 by psychologist Henry H. Goddard from the Greek word moros, which meant "dull" (as opposed to "sharp"), and used to describe a person with a mental age located between eight and 12 on the Binet scale. It was once applied to people with an IQ of 51-70, being superior in one degree to "imbecile" (IQ of 26-50) and superior in two degrees to "idiot" (IQ of 0-25). The word moron, along with others including "retarded", "idiotic", "imbecilic", "stupid", and "feeble-minded", was formerly considered a valid descriptor in the psychological community, though these words have all now passed into common slang use, exclusively in a derogatory context." - So, no offence, just a statement of obvious.
  11. M0I20N, (just before I leave) this government also supported US Iraqi war - an act deemed illegal by international lawers. Good bye.
  12. "And I have a life and a well paid job as a private parking operative. I'm proud of it." KPMG has a staff policy to have photos of the best performing staff in their co. publication. Wonder if you'd post yours, how long would you last in your 'hood??!!?? I am done here.
  13. jasonstickstirrer, get a life, [edited] . Don't you have like family, boy/girl-friend... PlayStation??? Or is it that the only place where people talk to you is here?
