Opus emergy need exposing for their disgraceful harrassing & bullying tactics. I battled with them for 5 weeks on behalf of my 86 yr old Dad. Too long a story to put on here, but they made him ill. I managed to get his bill reduced considerably with £50 compensation. I have not finished with them yet since speaking to Ofgem who have advised following the Opus Energy compalints procedure, then involving Consumer Direct. Another elderly relative has been caught up in their web of deceipt, but he is a domestic customer so we are hoping we can get out of the contract this way as they supposedly only supply commercial & coroprate companies. I did ring to ask if they supply domestic properties & was told 'we can do, but usually only supply businesses'. The elderly relatives wife is now awaiting copies of the taped conversations with her husband! I will not leave them alone until I expose them fully! jenpet

Don't have a problem as such with SKY, it is with the tv remote control with the SKY digi box. They give codes for different makes of TV's if the remote does not work. The code they gave for our make TV does not work, so they have told me to phone the technical department. Jaype

Hi Thanks These are all numbers I can't get through on as I have been on their website & looked myself. There is one 0161 number that would work, but it is for gnome service, whatever that is. I may try that tomorrow & get them to transfer me if they can. If not will have to wait until I get back to the UK next month. Jenpet

Does anyone please have any alternative numbers to call SKY? The ones on the 'saynoto870' no longer work, when calling those they redirect you to the 0870 or similar numbers. I am out of the UK at the moment & have to contact them. I have contacted them through their website, which has been a good service. They have now told me to ring the technicians to ask for more help, but these numbers do not often work from abroad. This Forum helped me on friday with a similar problem with an Easyjet number, I was give a number by a Forum member that worked perfectly. I hope someone can assist me again with a number for SKY Thanks Jenpet

I am sure I typed in the right boxes, not maybe I didn't. I have used the number on the back of my bank cards several times, so I know that is good. I tried to ring SKY yesterday & they were quite a few numbers on the noto0870 site, but none worked, they must have all been withdrawn. I should have told the website that those numbers no longer work. I really think it should be a rule that all businesses should have an alternative number for those in other countries. I often use the alternative numbers when in the UK as our phone has free calls! 0870 etc are very expensive especially if you are in a queue!

I did dial correctly & it comes up in my number display. We cannot dial 0870. 0871 or 0844. It is extremely frustrating especially when I was trying to phone a Dr in the UK on an 0844 number with no alternative! I got through to Easyjet on the 01582 700036, the 01582 525001 did not work so must no onger be available Thank you all again, I love these forums I belong to 3 Jenpet

Thanks for that I looked in saynoto0870 & typed in the number & then after that came up with nothing I typed in Easyjet, so am puzzled how you found the numbers & I didn't?????? Thanks again

Hi I am a new member I am trying to phone Easyjet & am currently out of the UK The numbers 0871 do not work from Tenerife where I am at the moment On their website they say it is a number to ring from the UK, what are we supposed to do if we are out of the UK? I have e mailed them but do not hold out much hope! Does anyone have an alternative number please? Thanks Jenpet
