  1. Ooooh almost hoping they ignore it! Would be more than happy to pay the bailiff's fee and watch them in action
  2. Already reported them ODC! Glad I took the time to attend because as expected, they hadn't informed the court they were taking no further action, and that could have backfired on me at some point! He took one look at their letter to me saying no further action as statute barred, and commented about their waste of court time etc, don't thinkhe was too impressed. Judge said I'll get a copy of the order, and should not hesitate to enforce it if they don't pay How long should I allow to receive paperwork from the court, and then how much longer will they be allowed to stump up the cash? And what's the procedure if they don't, because something tells me they won't play ball lol
  3. Attended hearing for the set aside this morning, and as expected Lowell's didn't turn up. Judge didn't really want to hear about what's happened, said he had a long list etc, but did recommend I approach TS and FOS about Lowell's practices. Apologised for the distress caused, and had no hesitation in awarding me £100 costs although I only actually asked for £75 I'm a happy bunny
  4. On the side I was photographed it was single carriageway, on the other side mainly single, but a brief overtaking lane going into the 50mph zone. I will try to get some photos tomorrow if I'm feeling upto the drive. I'm not sure what I should be looking for exactly in this TRO, and would these be held at district councils or county? Thanks again
  5. Excuse my ignorance lamma, what's the TRO please?!
  6. I haven't HSBcrusher. Been very poorly this past week and unable to drive to get out there, t's about 30 minutes from me.
  7. Just received a notice of intended prosecution for doing 37mph in a 30 zone. Have been back to look at where this happened, and basically this camera appears to be used as a cash machine! On the opposite side of the road to the camera, level with the camera the speed limit changes from 30mph to 50mph. However, on the side of the road with the camera, the limit changes from 50mph down to 30mph a few hundred yards before the camera. Firstly, it seems very odd to me they have a different spped limit on either side of the same road. Secondly, I'm trying to find out if there is a statutory minimum distance between a speed camera and the sign inidcating change of speed limit. If so, I believe this camera may well break the rules. Any help would be much appreciated.
  8. Seems to just be the one CRA at the mo, but may send them a copy just in case. Although as it was originally defaulted in Dec 06, would be surprised if it turned up anywhere else. Was a pleasant change, was expecting a fight on my hands!
  9. Thanks for the help. I decided to initially approach Callcredit, thinking they would probably contact T-Mobile and reply the info was correct (cynical, me?!). But was pleasantly surprised for them to respond saying they hadn't had adequate proof from T-Mobile, so were now removing the info from my file
  10. Thanks for all the help and info. Does anyone have any idea how many hours the judge would deem resonable to claim? What with going to court to file for set aside, attending the hearing, the amount of time researching all this I think it would probably be a surprising amount of time. However, I am very wary of appearing to take the mick lol. Strange, but I'm actually quite looking forward to it
  11. Well I applied for the setaside, and at the same time sent the statute barred letter to Lowells. I received a hearing date of 15th May, and then this morning a letter from Lowells stating after further examination it is apparent it is statute barred, and as such have closed the account and I will not be hearing from them again. The best bit was this though.... "Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience caused by this matter" I got an apology from a DCA Opinions on what to do next would be welcomed. Would you attend the hearing with this letter, and claim costs for them wasting my time, or just inform the court and leave it at that?
  12. Thanks for the info Danny and Grumpy. Think I may collect post from the sorting office instead. Call me cynical or paranoid lol, but I just don't trust anyone when it comes to my information Thanks again
  13. I'm due to move shortly, and was about to redirect my mail using the royal mail's online application. When they were asking for all sorts of things to identify me though, such as my home tel no, length of time at old address, it begain to ring alarm bells :o Does anyone here know if they share information with DCS's or financial institutions, or indeed link addresses on CRA files? Any help appreciated
