  1. I have emailed them, sent another one today but must admit most contact has been via online chat. I will allow them another week, hopefully my persistence will pay off.
  2. Hi, thanks for your reply. yes I claimed my reward in December, forgot all about it during xmas and new year then in February I realised I hadn't received it. contacted bt by phone, card was sent in December they said. I told them I haven't received it and so they said they would look into it, every time I contact them I'm told it could take 30-45 days. I chatted online with them and was promised it would be here on 12th june, then I was told 22nd june. Bt rang me to check if it had arrived and apparently they are going to call again next week! I switched to their broadband in nov 2016 and the reward card offered was 125 pounds, as a loyal customer for 30 odd years I don't see why I should miss out on this reward. I just wanted advice as to what I should do next if the card doesn't arrive this week. Sorry for long post but was trying to explain in full.
  3. Hi, sorry if this is the wrong place to post but need some advice about a reward card from bt. been waiting since last November !
  4. Thankyou fox and dx, My friend just gets fed up with all the letters that arrive! he's tempted to call them but I said NO. These people hope that you haven't heard of Consumeractiongroup and therefore don't know your rights. I think he just needs to sit tight for a bit longer. Thanks to the helpful advice I have recieved on here, I stopped making payments that I couldn't really afford and told a debt collector that arrived at my door without an appointment to come back next week, then I told him I would pay it back at £5 a month and not a penny more! I used to be too scared to open the letters before I found this site. Thanks again, hope it's a sunny day wherever you are as it is here in Dorset!
  5. He's made no payments, no contact either by phone or letter. Thankyou for your replies Silverfox.
  6. Thankyou Fox, My friend is still getting letters and didnt want to tell them to get lost it statute barred until he was certain that it was! So would you advise that he does nothing until after 6/2010? he is hoping to get a mortgage one day.
  7. Hi, my friend has two defaults dating back to 11/2003, however on his credit report it says...file updated for the period to 6/2004, what does this mean exactly? I'm fairly certain he hasn't acknowledged or paid anything towards these debts. Also, I found a default letter which states I owe £98, but on my credit report it says £300, this is re Littlewoods, default placed by Phoenix recoveries. I have letters from Littlewoods stating I owe £380, this may be due to charges etc. confusing! If anyone can help I would appreciate it, especially for my friend who is getting married next year and trying to sort his finances out!
