I am more than happy to add my name to the petition. As a car owner for almost 50 years I have seen the advent and rise in parking and other charges levied on motorists along with associated penalties from parking meters through resident parking, congestion charging and clamping to 24-hour municipal carpark s that now charge Blue Badge holders for using designated disabled bays. Whilst charging and enforcement are necessary in some areas to prevent things from getting out of hand, in others restrictions are imposed purely to create a revenue stream and penalise the motorist yet again.
