'dropped footway' PCN - any pointers?
bobcatman replied to passtheport's topic in Private Land Parking Enforcement
as a road contractor, that is not a dropped crossing, they are standard old granite kerbs laid level the same as most towns in uk, a dropped crossing needs a tapered kerb each side to form drop and footway needs to be same level as highway for a smooth walk through ,on a street corner pram crossing usually there are tactile slabs to help blind people find the way over this does not meet any off thease requirments
