  1. Hi, I hope someone can give me some advice, has anyone had any dealings with Land Registry to remove a unilateral notice on their property. I bought my flat from a developer (who are also my freeholder & managing agents) and they gifted me with a 15% deposit, however it has just come to light that they have applied for a unilateral notice for the 15%, despite no-one (including mortgage company) receiving 15%. Now the Land Registry have advised that I need to prepare a statement to the developers and LR advising why I feel this notice should be removed. The only evidence developers have sent is one piece of handwritten paper with my signature, that they have input my address on it. I did sign a piece of paper when I first approached the developers for a different property and not the one I eventually bought. Recently, I have started receiving letters from the developers advising that they are adding interest on the 15% and also charging me for sending letters / phone calls. I am not sure what else I can tell the LR in my defence other than I did not sign a piece of handwritten paper agreeing to any charges / loans to be secured / attached to my property. Apparently anyone can apply to LR to apply a notice against a property. What I don’t understand is that if they did lend me 15% why was this not applied as a secure loan.

  4. Hi Rhibox, I am sure that the CSA reduces the amount of the childs maintenance depending on the amount on days per week they share with both parents. I agree go onto the CSA website and speak to them.
  5. this is brilliant as i too was given a parking ticket whilst loading my car parked in a loading bay and was told that i had the wrong sort of vehicle. So i will certainly be writing to the council to reject my parking ticket.
  6. Thanks olddog, i was trying to find a way around the additonal £35. i shall just have to dust off the purse and get going.
  7. Thanks Deller, moneysavingsexpert is my most visited site next to 'cheap egypt holidays'. but i shall take my time and read again.
  8. hi all, i have got to the mcol stage & the first 14 days for barclays to acknowledge claim expires today. i assume from reading these posts that barclays will acknowledge claim at 15.59 and 59 secs, so i am geared up for battle. however, i copied the template onto the mcol and stupidly did not think to include account no & sort code in the section. therefore will my claim be dismissed as only my name, address and amount is on mcol?
