  1. Well the bailiff kept calling my son , so I contacted the court & was advised to fill out the OUT OF TIME paperwork & to contact the council who originally issued the ticket & ask them to call off the bailiff! I called the council & was told the court had already sent confirmation that my son was filling in the OOT paperwork & the bailiff would be notified & not to worry. Phew! Get that sent off asap & hope they take it back to the original fine .
  2. He only found out today. He has the letter from our previous address. i dont understand , usually DCA will find you any way they can , these don't seem to have bothered. His licence address was changed about 3 weeks after this happened. According to the date the bailiff gave.
  3. It says issued on the authority order the traffic enforcement centre at the county court business dented in respect of outstanding penalty charge notice.
  4. My son has just called me saying that he has to pay £400 fine . It turns out that he drove through a bus lane In September 2016 & he has had numerous letters sent to him at our old address. Now we moved house in 2016 , & he didn't change his drivers licence until a month after this had happened. he contacted the company today & they said he has to pay the £400 otherwise they will take his car. They also said they have sent bailiffs to the old house loads of times. .My son said that he changed his licence the month after this must have happened, but the DC said tough , they have been pursuing him at the old address for the last 8 months & he has to pay! & the guy said not their problem! Surely if his licence address was changed not even a month after this had happened, they would be able to get hold of him at the new address? Can he appeal this? Thanks
  5. Yeah got all the usual bills and some debt. 2 kids. Thanks for the advice I will try that.
  6. It seemed to me that the guy I spoke to in recovery wasn't up for making any arrangement other than pay the £647 we won't take further action. He gave me 14 days in which to do so which end on the 14th. He said by paying this amount in full I will show good will and will be able to carry on paying my council tax by installments. I havnt got all that at once plain & simple. Maybe I should just phone & pay as much as I have over the next 14 days and hope for the best.
  7. There is a liability order. I recieved it yesterday. No I didn't get a summons.
  8. The guy I spoke to said I have lost the right to pay by installments and the £647 has to be paid within 14 days. I want to know can they really force me to pay an amount I just don't have, unless I don't pay my rent... Which I don't want to do that and end up in a mess there too.
  9. I don't even know which court it was or when it happened. I am willing to pay it just can't afford the amount they are saying I have to pay or else
  10. Thanks but isn't this a debt issue??? That's why I used the debt forum to post this thread.
  11. Had a letter today from the council saying it has a liability order against us for council tax owed. I called the council and spoke to one of the people in recovery. He said I have to pay £647 in the next 14 days or they will take further action. I did say I could make a payment of £150 in the next 2 days but I couldn't afford the £647 in 14 days but he said that £ 150 was nit enough and only the £647 would be accepted to stop further action. I told him I didn't have that amount he said try and get it. I don't know what to do.
  12. Sent them another letter after finding out about their little bit of bad luck saying I won't accept their poxy offer and to have another look at the figures and get back to me. They did and said it was that offer or nothing as that's all I'm entitled too. So now at a point of do I send another letter accepting or try & fight this...??? I don't know
  13. Sorry been working long hours past few days. Ok so if I write a letter tomorrow to The solicitors asking who arrow are collecting for that will do will it?? What about thecounty courtletter?? I was going to reply to that online...
