  1. I've decided to accept the payment in full and just try to stay within overdraft and hopr they lower charges in the future. I'll sort donation when I receive payment. Thanks for all the help
  2. Sorry, didn't realise. Was only trying to help
  3. Hi, under the data Protection Act, thy have to give you information they hold on you. If you haven't already you need to write to them enclosing a cheque for £10 being the maximum they can charge. I've pasted an example letter requesting your statements below [EDIT Removed letter. Please do not paste the letters from the library onto the open forum. They are for registered members only.]
  4. No offence taken. I'm not always being charged but when I do it snow balls. Starts off £2 over the overdraft, can't get money in, ring to be told they wont extend for a couple of days, and get slapped with 3 or 4 £38 charges. Totally not fair
  5. Started my action with the request for Data on 20/01/07, prelim letter sent 05/02/07, letter before action sent 19/02/07. Today, 05/03/07, received big letter saying how they feel their charges are just etc, etc, blah, blah, However as a gesture of goodwill offer to pay in full. The only problem if I accept this is I will be agreeing that any further charges will be just. Has anyone any thoughts on this?
