Default Council- poor customer service

Sorry just need to let off steam!

I wrote to complain about a very, very rude phone Council Tax advisor at Birmingham City Council (after a council tax bill I am disputing).

Council's response?

"The advisor was professional, helpful and courteous. We have no evidence to support your complaint."

No qualifying statement, no acknowledgement of my complaint, no apology, just a dismissive "you are wrong".

ARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHH!!!

Why do councils not give a flying fig about their "customers"?

Hi there,
I notice no-one got back to you. sometimes posts get missed.

Personally I would not take this lying down.
Can you give more details of the dispute. I have a little experience of councils inefficiency.
I would not normally recommend phoning the council but if you can record calls then you would have evidence of their rudeness.
If I can do anything to help, let me know
