error reducing band Hi Guys
Anyone had this happen to them :
Got Council Tax band reduced from D to C December 2007, I went for interest on refunded money, took my claim all the way to the Adjudicators Office (still on going). Received a letter today from my local VOA claiming a mistake had been made in reducing my property Band from D to C. Conclusion : the listing officer is now obliged to alter the banding to correct their earlier error. They have sales evidence to confirm values at 1 April 1991. I will be appealing when they send me the notification and at the same time will have access to the sales evidence the listing officer believes supports this. Phoned them, they still dont know why they altered my banding in the first instead, so it appears to me they are allowed to make mistakes then 6 months later correct them, cause they kind of have their own rules within rules. Any advice please guys.

Reason: first sentence to say from Council Tax from D to C not C to D
