| | Basic Account Customer | Re: Data Protection Act letter hand delivered today OK, so decided to give LLoyds a ring to find out what's happened with Data Protection Act request, interestingly enough they said they could not find my request, I promptly put her right advising that they were having a laugh as I hand delivered it to a cashier at my local branch, she then got a bit snotty asking if I knew there was a £10 fee, told her that also was hand delivered in the form of a chq which hadn't been cashed, was told she would get my branch to ring me yesterday before 5pm, which no call was rec'd. But today I got a nice little message from my bank saying they were posting them out to me and to expect several letters from them as there was quite a bit of paperwork. Can't wait to get started now, have my letter all downloaded and ready to send.
Just one question tho, I'm on XP and don't have excel and the other version is telling me it will take over 5 hrs to download, I'm on dial up so not ideal, just wondered if there was any other way to work out the interest.
Any ideas.

Maca | You won't need the spreadsheet until moneyclaim time, and hopefully Lloyds might have settled by then.
I think that all libraries now have broadband internet access. I'm not sure but you might be able to download open office at your local library and save it on to a pen-drive. Ask your local librarian, they're usually very helpful. Not sure what charges they make though. |

| | Classic Account Customer | Re: Data Protection Act letter hand delivered today Hi Alison
Have a look at the FAQ section which is in red at the top of the thread list. In there you'll find step by step instructions.
Try this link: http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...read.php?t=243
Sorry I can't do short links.
It would also be advisable to start your own thread to keep all the information in one place. |
