Wink Chelsea v Lloyds TSB

I have just issued my first money claim on line, it feels great just to know that I have started the ball rolling.
I have not been on site for a while, I started the process months ago and have let things slip, but I'm on track again.
Glad to hear so many people has been sucessful due to this site, it is great. Keep up the good work.

One question, now I have issued the money claim, do I write to them advising them that I have done so as in my particulars I have written that I have already sent them details of the charges, and I will send them again! How do I do that?

Thanks chelsea

Hi Chelsea
You should now do the following:

Send 2 copies of your schedule of charges, clearly marked with your claim no. + a brief covering letter asking for them to be filed with your claim to:
The Court Manager,
Money Claim Online
Northampton County Court
21-27 St. Katharine's Street
Northampton
NN1 2LH
Dear Sir/Madam
(Your Name) –v- (Bank)
Claim No: ********
Date Issued: xx/xx/xx
Please find enclosed a schedule of penalty charges taken from me by the defendant, along with interest claimed at the annual rate of 8% pursuant to section 69 of the County Court Act. The interest in addition to the amount in charges equates to the total amount of my claim, namely £(AMOUNT).
I respectfully request that the enclosed schedule should be attached to the particulars of my claim.
Yours Faithfully

And when Lloyds acknowledge your claim, send a copy of your schedule to their Solicitors.

Good luck, let us know how you go on.
Barty

Received my acknowledgement from the courts today. Will I get the cost of the court fee back (£120)? Also, I have another account with Lloyds to claim for and I incurred another load of charges which were not included in the original schedule, how do I add them into the court claim? Thanks Chelsea

You will get the court fee back, yes.

Unfortunately you will have to claim again for the additional ones. If it is under £750 they theoretically should just pay out at LBA stage

Hi
Have they acknowledged your claim? They have 14 days from the date the claim was served to do this, and 28 days from the date the claim was served to enter a defence.

Hi
I would give them tomorrow as well with it being the weekend, if they haven't acknowledged by Tuesday morning, come back on and tell us.
Do you know what address you put down for Lloyds on your claim?

Hi Barty, I'll do that. I put the branch address for the claim, Berkshire, I have another one to go and was going to put the branch address, Herts, on that also.

Thanks for the reply, I received today acknowledgement of service of the claim, they now have a further 28 days to file a defence. I guess I will wait to see what happens in the 28 days.

Hi
It is actually 28 days from date of service, so probably only 13 or 14 days left to defend.

Is that from the date it was served? If so, it was the 11th March, so they have until around the 18th April, if I'm correct?
