Default All gone quiet!!

Hello all,

I started this process back in August and I have had very little communication from LLoyds or s,c & m throughout. I sent my AQ off several weeks ago now and I have not heard anything even though my cheque has been cashed (although I have received a copy of S,C & M AQ). I have not had any offers to settle and although I am not supprised I am begining to worry slightly that I have done something wrong as so many people seem to be getting offers at much earlier stages.

Should I be concerned?

Cheers.

Hi
Don't be concerned, the Courts are probably very busy with all these claims at the moment. Give them a ring, they're very helpful, and they will be able to tell you what is happening with your claim.

Default Claim has been Stayed!! WHAT NEXT? Help!!

Hello All, I have received today from Wolverhampton County Court a:

'Standard order for stay for settlement with consent of all the parties'

It says:

District Judge xxxxx orders that a claim is stayed until 21 February 2007 to enable the parties to attempt settlement.

On or before 07 March 2007, one of the following steps must be taken:
either
the claimant must notify the court that the whole claim has been settled; (see note (i) below)
or
the claimant or defendant must write to the court requesting an extension of the stay period, explaining the steps being taken towards a settlement and identifying any mediator, expert, or other person helping with the process. The letter should confirm the agreement of all the parties. (see not (ii) below)
or
all the parties must file a completed allocation questionnaire at the court. Where a settlement of some of the issues in dispute has been reached, a list of those issues should be attached to the completed questionnaire.
The list must be agreed with the other parties and indicate that it has been agreed
Date 26th January 2007

Note(i) Wher settlement of the claim is achieved before the end of the period of stay, the following will be taken to include an application for the stay to be lifted:
(a)an application for a consent order to give effect to the settlement
(b)an application for approval of a settlement where one or more of the parties is a person under a dissability: and
(c) the filing of a notice of acceptance of monies paid into court, or anapplication to accept monies paid into court out of time.
Note(ii) Extensions to the period of stay will generally be no more than one month.

Would anyone be able to give me an idea as to what this is all about? I am rather confused with the bit about AQ and filing it in court as I have already sent my AQ back. I am also unclear on what all the notes mean, to be honest I am rather unclear on all of it! Whay does it say stayed untill 21 Feb but then "on or before 07 March"?
What do I do now?

Any help would be greatly appreciated
