8% confusion

Wondering if someone could explain (sorry)
On the template used, does the 8% get added to every charge that your applying for? ie unpaid D/D charge, unpaid cheque charge, Overdraft excees fee charge....??Ive been trying to read thru threads but cannot seem to depicked where exactly the interest is to be added. Or if someone could explain where you do not add the 8% if easier. Sorry about the confusion only Im claiming circa £3.5k and my interest charge is about £700 and im thinking that sounds a little to high.

	Are you letting your bank keep your money Are you giving away thousands of pounds?? Many people aren't claiming all of the money they are entitled to when they make their bank charges claims. You have been forced to pay unfair bank charges. Have you forgotten that your bank has charged you inteest on those charges? If you are overdrawn and the bank owes you charges - then your overdraft is made up of charges - money which you bank owes you. Yet you are paying interest to the bank - on your own money!!! £700 sounds just about right. When filing a court claim, you are entitled to add 8% APR interest on each charge from the date each charge was applied. If you have'nt found it already, there is a spreadsheet in the templates library that will work it out for you.

GaryH, again thank you. I had found the spread sheet and used it to calculate. I was seeing if the £700 it calculated seemed appropriate to someone who were perhaps claiming the same as me..Thank you for your help.
