Girlfriend vs Lloyds TSB

Hi all

Been handling my girlfriend's claim against Lloyds TSB as I work in a financial institution....started claim by asking for statements on April 26th 2006 & recently had to fill out court allocation questionnaire....yesterda y she received an offer from Lloyds' solicitors for settlement in full.

One question...since the claim was filed with moneyclaim site further charges have been applied...is it right to now go back to their solicitors & state that will only accept if all charges (inc those post filing of claim) are paid? Also, can the interest calculations be moved from the file date to today?

As far as I have read you can only demand the charges up to the date of claim and interest up to the date of settlement. The new charges all you can do is ask for them back and threaten to take them to court again. That's how I understand it anyway.
