Cheers Nanna, the debt was from 2002, well before but 2002 was the last correspondence (from me, no reply from the bank) was from 2002. I am mainly concerned with having a CJJ without knowing it
which can prevent my debt from being statute barred.
I found that I can see whether there is a CJJ against me but
only in relation to a specified address. Is this only an address in the UK?
If I am not living in the UK - the bank knew I had left my last UK place for China - then I don't know how they can address a CJJ to me in the UK knowing I am not there.
The questions boil down to:
1. CAN A CJJ BE ISSUED TO AN ADDRESS OUTSIDE THE UK?
2. CAN A CJJ BE ISSUED TO A PREVIOUS ADDRESS IN THE UK IF THE BANK HAS ALREADY BEEN INFORMED THAT YOU'RE NOT THERE?
Grateful for any clarity ...
