Default ccj at old address ????

hi
my partner has just recieved her credit report and on it is a ccj which she knew nothing about. the ccj was dated 15/12/06 at our old address which we left 31/10/05. the debt was passed to a dca who had our new address and she can prove she made payments to the company between us leaving our old address and littlewoods issuing a ccj. she hadnt a clue they were going to issue a ccj and has had no chance to defend herself.
do we have any grounds to have this removed?

You certainly do, especially if she can prove she didn't live there then and did not receive the letter from the court.

Phone the county court where it was issued (probably Northampton) and ask for the judgement to be set aside on the grounds that your partner never received notification.

More wind to her sails to prove taht she has actually been paying the debt and the DCA knew her new address.
