Default Irwin Mitchell charging order..HELP NEEDED!!!

I recieved a CCJ for a loan I took out in 2003-2004 in march of this year, I filled out the form for my repayments and sent it back. On the form it stated that i would recieve confirmation back of whether or not my payments were accepted. I never recieved anything back from them and to be fairly honest forgot all about it! now I have recieved an application for a charging order against my property that I now own with my partner.
I really dont know where to take it from here as I find it totally unfair that I never recieved anything back from the courts or a letter stating there was outstanding payments and they have gone straight for a CO.
I dont want this to happen as for one it is not fair on my partner as this loan was something i got before i met him and for 2 it will effect his credit as well as mine!! ( not that mine can take much more damage)
Any advise will be greatly used and I have to object before noon on 6th August!!

Hi
I Would Apply To The Court For A Redetermination Or If Not Apply For An Order To Vary The Amount You Have To Pay.(get Form From Court And Costs About £30)
You Will Need To State That You Have Not Recieved Any Correspondence From The Claimant And If They Are Asking For Payment Forthwith Or Asking For A Large Monthly Amount You Cannot Afford It And Will Make Paying Your Other Creditors Impossible And Therefore It Would Be Unfair On The Other Creditors.
