Default Defaults - Remedy the breach

Hi,

If I have an overdraft limit of £400 and have a current balance of £534, would £534 to remedy the breach be correct within the notice of default?

Or is the default factually incorrect and therefore not valid?

I have a default registered with a Credit Reference Agency on 01Feb03 for £574 when the balance was actually £564.

Having looked at my letters...no default for 01Feb03 but a NOTICE was issued on 23Nov03, nearly TEN months later!!!

Someone tell me that this default can be removed without the need for a fight!!!

I can then get Intelligent Finance for all the charges....they truly are the worst, their logo used to be

THE WAY ALL BANKS SHOULD BE.......I hope not!!!!!!

Regards

Default Need Clarification- Default

If I have a balance of say £600 overdrawn with a limit of £500.

I receive a default notice, what would the default amount be?

£100 or £600???

If I am owed charges prior to this of £200,

Where do I stand in regard to getting removal of the default?

Regards

Hi i'm pretty sure it would be for £600 but as you are in overdraft which is in fact a credit agreement in itself!!

Default Re: Defaults - Remedy the breach

the default amount would be £600 and the chances of getting default removed for £200 charges is unlikely, but you should send Surly fab letter somewhere in legalities section and start from there.
