Angry my car crash

Hi All, im new to this and not sure if im possting in the right place so please forgive me .

I have surfed the net trying to get some good advice and hoping someone will advise me here of my rights.
my story goes like this...

A week last monday i left work 1 hr late stuck in traffic, a journey that would usually at the most take me 45 min even with traffic turned out to take me 7 hours and a hospital trip.

i pulled onto a ( A ) road amongst many other cars and i spotted a white van swaying behind me at a far distance and alsmost hitting several cars especially a poor mini, i then stopped at a small round about , made sure it was clear as you do and knowing the speed limit is 50 i did 50 to get away from these 2 men in the white van as i certaintly did not want to be involved as they looked like they was messing around swaying towards other cars etc , i had seen then laughing ... so off i goes . i got down to the next large round about and could not pull out as there was a car coming around , i also had a car next to me who may have had the same idea as me to get away. All i see within seconds was the white van speeding towards me, he went up the verge and the next thing i remember is being woken up by a lady asking me if i was okay and not to move. my car and me was on the round about. i got whiplash and 6 stitches in my head , the white van was in the middle of road and was now facing the way it came from , 2 men jumped out and ran , 1 which was full of blood . alot of it is a blur but i remember little bits like a witness could smell weed in their van and that they caught 1 of them down the road who was totally totally frunk.
The driver has denied it although the police phoned me monday and said they hadnt got a statement because the driver is unable to talk due to his injuries.
Day after the accident when i reported to my insurance Tescos ,They said because i could not give any 3rd party details i had lost my no claims, i asked the police for them and they said they was not allowed to give them out to which i later found out that my insurance company can request them. Tescos has not been nice at all about the situation.
i phoned Tescos today to ask what was going on and they said there was nothing on their screne and would i mind holding the line while they phone the garage that has my car, i held and they came back to me saying the car was a writeoff. they said they would make me a offer in the post and that was that.
5 minutes later they phone me up saying the car was a writeoff and they would be offering me 5367 pound as they car had high milage and had lost 1000 pound on market value due to this .
I only had the car 3 weeks , i paid 5000 pound for it and only cos i haggled, the car has air con, climate control, bluetooth, voice control, alloy wheels, sports tyres , 1 lady owner ,u name it had it and there is no way im gonna get another at that price i paid , it was just lucky i found such a nice car, plus they want 300 access off me so that means i will come out with 5037 pound. can anyone please please give me some advise on what i can do, my husband said if we appeal we may get less.
I had to get a bank loan out to buy this car in the first place.

They've offered you £5,367 for a £5,000 car?

I'm not entirely sure why they would offer you more than it is worth, but if they have then what is the problem?

Yes, i'm not sure what the problem is with the claim if they're offering you more than you paid for the car and you've had it 3 months!!

I would pursue Tesco about losing the No Claims though. Phone them again and tell THEM to phone the police to get the details. I had a crash in April (still got bad whiplash nearly 4 months later!!), and was in such a state of shock I forgot to write the actual car numberplate down, so my insurance just phoned up the police and got it off them, no problems whatsoever. If they don't co-operate, then I would write a letter, recorded delivery, detailing what's happened, and telling them you're not happy.
